RV Life: How to work out on the road

    Hey everyone,

This is a hypothetical question for everyone.

If you were living in an RV and traveling around the country for 3 months, what would you do to stay in shape?

I'm currently 12%BF at 145lbs. Moderately good shape, and my abs show through just a little bit.

I'd like to, at a minimum, maintain my current leanness and strength.

So far, I'm interested in TRX, if only because it uses simple, small, light equipment and can work a variety of muscles, by only anchoring onto something.

Any thoughts? Routine suggestions appreciated, too!

You can buy an adjustable set of dumbbells. Between that and bodyweight stuff (maybe stop at parks to do pull-ups, sprints, etc) you should be ok. At 145lbs it's not like you're going to lose tons of muscle, it might even be beneficial.

    Drop in at local gyms.
Jump rope, kettlebell, sledgehammer, tow/tie-down straps
    Found stone lifts, throws, carries
Hill sprints, pushups, handstand pushups, walking lunges with spare wheel locked out overhead, tree branch pullups, long jumps, high jumps
Find a park with some monkey bars and go nuts. Lots of campsites have these, actually.

Ross Enamait also has a lot of good info in his books and on his website, rosstraining.com. He's a really smart guy who definitely practices what he preaches. A lot of his workouts are minimal/no equipment.
