I am having trouble bringing up the inside of my thighs. They are growing foward but not in towards each other. For leg presses I tried placing my feet on the sled in a v (toes pointed out) equal to my shoulders and feel it a little bit more.

Do you gents have any other recomendations for the inner sweep of the thigh?

Thanks,

- Jonesie

There is a machine at my gym, I think it is called the thigh abbductor or something like that, basically you sit down and it spreads your legs (not like that !:whip: ) , and then you close them by bringing them together, working against the resistance. If you have a machine like that at your gym I suggest using it, it should help with your inner thigh sweep!

1. That machine looks gay as **** (literally)

2. Squatting with a wide stance will develop much stronger inner thigh muscles than that machine ever will - I tried it (when nobody was looking  ) and did ~30 reps with the entire stack. It's a chick machine...

fellas, have an open mind about abductor/adductor machines. for isolating the inner sweep of the thigh, its actully a decent machine, even if it looks questionable. I would throw in a few sets, along with leg presses/squats, with a sumo stance. wide stance puts more isolation on what you're looking to target.

I agree. I'll do my entire leg workout, then finish them off with those machines. Superset both of them until you can't do anymore.

But isn't it great when the chicks do them?

I can see Exnihilo now, walking up real slowly to the machine, keeps glancing around to see if anybody is looking, hops on real quick knocks out some reps then hops up walking away really quickly to go home a take a shower now that his curiosity is satisfied. :)

how about sumo squats with 1 heavy dumbell (held with both hands in the middle) for hi-reps. Place feet in various places to gauge the best place to isolate the inner. This would be done at the middle-end of workout, when you have some pre-exhaust. Mind you I am no expert, physiologist or trainer. Purely from experience and trying at times to develop the same. Go to failure and pyramid down for a superset; so youd start by lining up 3 heavy d-bells standing on their ends in front of you, heaviest to lightest. Just an idea...

you mean sumo deadlifts :D Like I said at the get go wide stance squats and sumo style deadlifts for sure will work the heck out of that region.
