    Made my trip down to Gold's just before noon today. No wife again, she is working the extra long shift today.

    Pre Supps:
    Hemavol/Ignite/Taurine/CreaTrona & PRO XANTHINE 500-XT

    Post Supps:
    None, I came home and ate!

    Training:
    Wide Grip Lat Pulldowns
    100x20 Warmup

    Today was a little different with the supplements. I have been using PX Black since the beginning of this log but today I decided to give that 500-XT a try (free sample sent from Nutra). Popped one of those guys about 1hr before I left the house and I could feel it dong whatever in about 10 mins after I swallowed it. Being a big ol chicken I only did .5 of the recommended serving of Hemavol and .5 of the the same for Ignite. The drive is about 15 mins to the gym and I started sipping on the way. 10 mins down the road I was so anxious to get out the car but I never felt jittery. Today may have been my version of what other people refer to as being focused from a supplement! That statement has always been so irrelevant to me and I never pay attention to that part of a product review. Never really could see how a pill or drink could make you focused. You are either focused on doing the damn workout or your not. Well today, I wanted to get out that damn car and get the training done. That workout would have taken me an hour on most days but I was done in just over 40 mins. Several times I had to pay really close attention to my timer because I kept starting on the next set to soon. It was nice to have a stim effect without feeling like I was going to pass out or throw up. Pumps in my Lats where crazy noticeable just after my warmup and today was another personal record day on pulldowns! Still getting stronger and it just keep adding to the motivation

    She has been eating, sleeping, working and taking care of our new puppy. That little guy is taking up everyone's time. I'm sure she will jump on here in a few days.

    My wife and I hit the legs together tonight. We wanted to focus more on the hammies this go round and get a little work on the shoulders towards the end.

    Stiff Leg Deadz (Warmup)
    2x12 Stiff
    4x10 Working

    Lying Leg Curls
    4x10 Working

    Sitting Leg Press / Feet high on the platform to get those Hammies
    4x20 Me
    4x15 WiFE

    Cable Shoulder Press
    4xFail Me
    4x10 WiFE

    Shoulders should have had more work done but the gym was so busy we decided to leave. Several people were waiting in line for others to get off leg press so we ended up doing leg press on one of those machine things. It got frustrating and we'll be needing to re-evaluate the times we go there going forward. Can't even get in a good workout from about 5pm till 8pm!

    Back in the gym today after a brief time away due to work and a few family type obligations. My wife and I will be going to the gym tonight for some upper body stuff and I completed some quad training with a co-worker this morning. Nice routine he picked up from a local bodybuilder he knows. It was all about volume today.

    That workout today sucked! All those damn reps burned like crazy and I was stretching constantly in between sets. My arms and shoulders were getting tired holding the bar in place for song long while having to complete all those squats. When I got home I put some ice on my left knee that likes to have an attitude from time to time just as a precaution. Looking forward to the upper body stuff tonight with my woman. Should be good times!

    All the measurements were taken cold and we got our body fat using our digital scale. I know its not accurate but as long as it reads a number that is consistent for us then we'll know if there is progress. I'm a little concerned we didn't do our measurements correctly so in the next week or so I will have it checked by someone else.
