I had talked about this a little bit here and there previously. But it appears we adapt to be strongest based on developing a schedule of training: i.e.: if you train at 10am for 6 weeks then you will be best then. I like train in the later morning, and often find trying to train after dark to be an issue. Melatonin release, especially during the winter, appears to be a major factor. Here's my write up on how to increase arousal after dark without the use of stimulants (or strippers!).
