  1. Off day from lifting. Did HIIT for 20 minutes. Had planned on longer but I broke the treadmill.
I do intervals at a 2:1 ratio and speed increases as I get further into the workout. Treadmill tapped out at 12.5mph@+/-55 seconds. Punk-ass. Almost fell on my face when it quit mid-stride.
Anyway, good workout either way, even if the treadmill couldn't keep up.

    Supps
    1 scoop micro
    1 Versa-1

Got it bud. Thanks a ton. I'll be incorporating some of this stuff as time passes.

  3. This is what this morning looked like. This is the first time I have done a complete body workout before. I like it but I kinda feel lazy on off days. More my fault than anything but I'll work on it.

    Push Press
    (w/u 45x20),115x8,115x8,95x6,75x6
    DB Pull Over
    (w/u 45x12), 75x7, 75x8, 60x8, 45x9
Smith Incline Bench (did DBs instead)
    (w/u 50x12), 75x8, 75x8, 65x6, 55x6
    Reverse Curls
    Don't remember
Lying Triceps Extension (with elbow pointed toward back of head at 45 degree angle.)
    Don't remember
    Dead Lifts
    (w/u 135x12), 245x8x4
    Leg Ext
    Don't remember.

    Last working set=SSUT

    Supps

    1 micro
    1 versa-1
    MBCAAs

  4. If you are doing your cardio on off days you shouldn't feel lazy hitting it a total of 6 times a week. Now if you are not doing cardio that is another story. Trust me your muscle is getting plenty of work and needs that day to recover.

What are the Horizontal press and what are they for?

Yeah, I do cardio on the off days but it feels weird not lifting. I broke a treadmill yesterday, as a matter of fact.
Here's a link to the horizontal presses.

    Hopefully that works.

  6. It's also weird to be sore all over instead of just one targeted group. I felt like I got hit by a truck yesterday when I woke up.

I've been considering, well, um, yoga. I think mobility and flexibility and the mental bennies are worth it.
Tennis is a whole nother monster, all that cutting and basically shuttle running. On top of that, you're not getting any younger.

Bwahahahaha. Fortunately I'm not losing weight. I think I'm losing fat at the same rate I'm gaining muscle. And if I feel light, I use an old army secret...I drink water. 8lbs per gallon.

8 lbs per gallon? Holy crap. That would be like over 28 gallons of water a day for me....impossible....

No meathead, water weighs approximately 8lbs per gallon. Drink a gallon, gain 8 lbs. until you piss it out.

  16. Ohhhhhhhhh. Lol I sorry. Comprehension isn't my strong suit....unless it has to do with being awesome. I'm fluent in that.

You called yourself one earlier. Just thought it was appropriate.

  19. Yeah, so maybe I did just score a $300 softball bat for $135. No big deal, that's how I roll.

doesn't work out exactly like that

I know, in the grand scheme of things. But, if I chug a gallon, I will gain 8lbs. How much comes out, when, and in what form is a different story.

  22. Busy weekend over and now back to the grind.

I changed things up a little this morning as I went in to the gym feeling pretty gassed already.

    Chest
Incline DB press SS w/incline flyes
    75x6, 50x8 x 4 sets
    Flat BB bench SS w/flyes
    135x8, 55x8 x 4 sets
    Decline SS/push-ups
    155x8, BWx15 x 4 sets
    Did some tricep work after.

Very poor numbers overall and very disappointed with my performance. I'm tired. I'm going to make a concerted effort to up my intake. I'm pretty sure I'm not eating enough at this point. Will adjust starting today. Bumping up to 2800ish calories.

    Supps
    1 scoop micro
    1 versa-1

    Weight this Monday 186.5

  23. It's 1pm. I have consumed 1400ish cals already. I feel good. That is all.

Well, after decoding a message from my go to source for nutritional information, I decided to stuff my face today.
203/111/31 so far today and I don't want to stop eating. I've eaten a pound of lowfat cottage cheese, a half pound of turkey and a whole bunch of other stuff.
I know you like Ezekiel bread, but after Saturday I suggest you give Dave's killer bread a shot. It's pretty amazing.

  26. Tonight's dinner

    10oz 99% ground turkey
    2 cups broccoli
    1/2 cup brown rice
    2 slices Dave's bread
(Tapatio & a smear of lowfat mayo)
    750ish calories
    93g pro
    83g carbs
    10g fat

And I ate all of it.

  27. Nice meal. Now I gotta eat again. Damn it.

Forced the last few bites of broccoli and rice down. It was painful.
