Did P90X ab ripper routine and wrecked my upper leg muscles!

  1. Did P90X ab ripper routine and wrecked my upper leg muscles!


    Funny how I've been doing abs for a while but after I blasted through the P90X ab ripper for a different routine I ended up limping like an old man 2 days later! Obviously I worked muscles in ways that I haven't before. And I thought I was hot **** for thinking I bested it. Serves me right for my arrogance.

    So, still limping a bit but what's the recommended heal time before working legs and abs again? 1 week?


  2. i would not reccomend p90x or any other high rep workout for abs. abs are like any other muscle group. hit them with heavy excercises in the 8-15 rep range(little higher than other muscles) but still heavy

    If you have severe DOMS, just do some super light ie: bar weight or stretching and or rolling/massage. Getting some blood in there will/may aid recovery. Drink some water/liquids too can help with flushing toxins and you should feel some relief in a few days.
