    Is the whole 5x5 routine good for size and strength? Anyone have pointers for a noob?


  2. It is good for both. If you EAT you will grow and the strength will come. The 5x5 starts you out with a good strength platform to build on and really hits lifts that are so many times left out "noobs" in their BB workouts.
