    to much ?

i lift 5 days a week, but i am constantly doing pull ups and pushups in my room. I just love the pump feeling, but am i hurting my body by doing this due to the fact it isnt getting full rest?

Probably. Overtraining really kills a routine, because you basically have to stop completely for weeks. There are routines that have planned overtraining intervals, but they're just impractical and complicated.

i wouldn't over do it, it all depends on how your body feel really.

Do you feel like you're overtraining? If your recovery is isn't affected, don't worry about it.

Are they weighted? How many sets/reps? Close in time to other training sessions? Whats your sleep like? So many different things could easily become variables in the answering of that question. But for the most part if your nightly rest is sufficient, and you try to plan them so that they coincide with the body parts involved being trained that day as well, and or spaced so that rest is given you ought to be fine...

Then don't worry about it. You should be fine doing them. No need to over-think things.
