    While im in work I do think up the strangest things. One day, I started to plan a one off test for any one crazy enough to give it a lash.

    This is based on volume training. I am yet to try this but Im gonna stick my neck out and say it could be painfull.

    And I came up with a cool name that describes it to a tee

    THE TEN GATES OF HELL

    Take it you want to train 5 body parts, 2 exercises per part = "10"
    (can also do random exercises once it adds to 10)

    so, now you have your first "10" in this equasion.

    The next "10" is "Sets". 2nd "10" in the equasion.

    The next "10" is "Reps". 3rd "10" in the equasion.

    The next "10" is rest. 10 seconds between sets.

    And to top it off, and this is for the die hard, crazy crazy people,

    10 x 10 seconds x 10kmph interval run on threadmill.

    So here is a sample (just for show)

    [LIST=1][*]Dead lift - 10 sets x 10 reps x 10 second break
    [*]pressups - 10 sets x 10 reps x 10 second break
    [*]prison squat - 10 sets x 10 reps x 10 second break
    [*]bench dips -10 sets x 10 reps x 10 second break
    [*]Biceps DB curl - 10 sets x 10 reps x 10 second break
    [*]Shoulder press DB - 10 sets x 10 reps x 10 second break
    [*]Leg press - 10 sets x 10 reps x 10 second break
    [*]Bench press DB - 10 sets x 10 reps x 10 second break
    [*]Bent row with bar - 10 sets x 10 reps x 10 second break
    [*]stiff leg dead lift - 10 sets x 10 reps x 10 second break
    [*]Cardio - 10kmph x 10 secs on x 10 secs off x 10 times

    I think you should try this at 30 / 40 % one rep max.

    So, Who dares?????????

    Again, this should be a one off test of the extreme on the body.
    For guys and girls, your favourite exercises.

  3. No man, not for gaining size. More a test to see how far you can go into it.
    Just said id stick it up there for anyone to see how they do and compare to others.

  5. Unless you use really low weights, starting with deadlifts at 10 sets is just going to kill you for the rest of the workout.

    Hell, one full workout can be 10 sets of deadlifts lol.

  7. good point. but as i said, its just a list to show how its done, not nessecaraly those exact exercises.
    But i think it would be interesting to try but ya, back pumps on deads would be a killer.
    I recon youd only go with 30 % or there about maybe.
    and as i said, just a bit of fun you know

  8. Looks nasty! I think the 10 seconds of rest is the crux that makes it look darn near impossible. 30 seconds and it would still woop the hell out of you.

    Don't forget to bring your grandma's oxygen tank! Just don't use her mask, get a new one!
