SPRING BREAK! workout or no? new workout HELP!

    SPRING BREAK! workout or no? new workout HELP!


    alright heres my question my spring break is coming up starting this friday. Driving to ohio saturday. gonna party saturday night and go to the arnold sunday. I wont be home till the following sunday so my question is should i workout or take the week off?

    I can go with a friend up to 3 times to workout down there. I also usually lift 3-4 days a week. I know with the drinking and smoking and seeing old friends im not going to be able to eat like i should be etc.. and a heavy routine of Dumbell Cleans and Bench Press, Squat,m Shoulder Press, Deadlift, Rows is gonna be hard but should i just man up and do it? or should i just do Some moderate weight 3-4 sets 8-10 rep workout or just take the whole weeek off?

    Well if you haven't taken a week off in the last 8-12 weeks...then take it off and try to keep the cals and protein as high as possible.

    a week off wont kill ya

    yea i think im going to take the week off ive been hitting it hard for about 8 weeks.. last month and a week i been lifint really heavy so it should be good on the joints etc..

    Seriously...if you wanna gain mass...just take the week off and pig out...eat pizzas, burgers...tons of protein and carbs...worst case scenario you'll grow

    thanks carpee im thinking bout drinking 2 shakes a day my weight gainers... rest of the day eat wat i want and make sure i take my cissus and fish oils for my joints and ligaments and im thinking bout going in to the gym just one day so im ready to hit 5 sets of 1 on 250 lbs on bench when im back home which in november 250 was my MAX and i been stuck around there for a year.

    Everytime i've gone to the beach i've lost 10-15 pounds. Being hungover and drunk all the time doesn't agree with protein shakes too well . Working out will cause you to lose even more muscle than you will otherwise. Just try to get a protein shake before bed and when you wake up for sure to keep the muscle loss to a minimum.

    lol damn bro that sucks ^^^ but im going to be in ohio no beaches just old high school buds drinking a couple nights a week couple blunts.. eating unhealthy etc.. just hoping i dont loose like poundage on bench since im finally bout to break the 250 plateau.

    take a week off. i just got off break. My strength went down a little but it'll be back in a week. Weight stayed the same. But holy s#?%!!! man did the first workout feel great yesterday. I had sick pumps and DOMS in almost ever muscle today (full body workout). Taking time off here and there allows you to fully recover and make great gains. Its highly essential man.

    dude take the week off go binge drinking and smoke all the blunts you get your hands on just make sure you try to eat decently healthyish and lots of protein if possible to prevent muscle loss you will be fine the weights will be there when u get back
