    Cool My Homemade Ab Wheel

I've always used a cheap ab wheel but never really like the quality of it. Then I saw one of Ross' ab wheels of Rosstraining.com and figured I'd make my own so it would also act as a unilateral movement. Anyways I picked all this up at Home Depot:

    2 - 8in Hex bolts (1/2in dia)
    2 - 1/2in hex nuts
    4 - 1/2in hose clamps
    4 - 6in lawnmower tires
1 - Roll of duct tape

Total Cost = $32 and change

    Finished product:

    Inspiration came from this video...

I have a redneck prowler, a backpack filled with sand, some various medicine ball like devices (basketball and dodge ball filled with sand and wrapped in duct tape), and these awesome tube sandbags with vertical handles...I grab them, shrug, and walk as far as I can with them...I keep meaning to build farmers walk bars and some other stuff...

I was wandering through Walmart one day and saw these cheapo rubber basketballs for like $3...I thought "hell, why not"...turned out pretty good...only downside is it's hard as my **** on 3/4 of a gram of test a week.

but it is creating something yourself.......satisfaction of making it. Plus for me, I am gonna jack the wheels off the old mower, clean em up, and be fine hopefully.

I can agree if it was something like a RPG launcher (which is very very very easy to make).

Kudos on the self-inventing, though. I'll never knock a man that tries to do things for himself.

that dude better have some abs after all those crazy ass movements

just like crunches though you wouldnt expect this to build muscle for abs unlike heavy squats and deads but my buddy in high school only did these and ended up with a six pack

Oh he's shredded. He has his own forum. Apparently someone called him out saying he's not very strong b/c he doesnt deadlift. This was his answer...
