  1. Team Juggernaut- 3 Month Journey


    Big thanks to @CHEFtepesh and mind and muscle for giving me this chance to be able to work with a coach ( Mr. Carl Jackson) and Team Juggernaut. I have never worked with any type of coach in this aspect so I am greatly looking forward to it. I have spoke with Mr. Jackson on the phone and through texts several times to set up both me diet and training plans.
    The main plan here for me is to cut some body fat in the next three months that I am working with the team.
    The process of getting updated meal and training plans is made very easy with a app that the team uses that is downloaded right to your phone which makes things very easy.
    I will be started with a basic meal plan and at the end of each week it will be adjusted as needed to meet my goals.
    Anyway thanks again to the guys over at Mind &Muscle and Team Juggernaut. Lets get this going.

    The account to be able to use the app, is set up on their end of you sign up for their coaching. They then send a link to use to download and use the app.

  4. I was looking into an app that would do that for my clients nutrition and training too. I think I read a bit about that one. So many apps out there now!

    Can't wait to see how this treats you, are we getting before pics to really show what happened with the journey?

  8. Day 1.
    So far so good. Training is a bet different starting out with this first phase than what I'm used to doing.
    Trained shoulder, calves, and little bit of rear neck testicles, aka traps.
    Seems like basic bodybuilding style with higher reps. Didn't have anything under 6 with most on the 8 to 12 range. I usually do more strength based in the 5 to 6 rep ranges at the highest for main lifts. But no complaints got me a nice pump.
    With diet starting out is more of a base plan with changes to come as I respond. But even starting out on this cut it has seemed like a ton of food for the day. But that has always been a issue of mine when planning my own nutrition, is I can never seem to start out high enough and then stall out in about 2 months. So really looking forward to the changes I can make

  9. Hit up some back, biceps, and calves along with 20 min on the ellpical for some early morning cardio to get the blood going.
    Been awhile since I've trained as early as this but with Halloween stuff going on all day with the kids, I needed to get it in. I diffenatly forgot how mich longer it takes to warm up this early and strenght is a little bit lower than in the later morning or evening

  10. Yeah the morning workouts are humbling me a bit but once I get used to them again things will be great.

    Oh okay, I can see that for sure on a bulk. As far as fat loss do you all typically put the morning cortisol levels to use by limiting insulin release and spurring on the catabolic effects toward lipolosys? I know there are multiple ways to go about it. Just curious on the thoughts there.

  16. Yesterday was a off day with just some light walking.

    Today I got up chest, tris, and and. With some cardio of 20 min on the stair climber

    Had a decent training session. First time doing chest in a while without do flat bench barbell press but felt like i still got decent chest work in.

    interesting... you're the only 1 of the 3 of us that has any in the first week. I figured I wouldn't since my goal is more size related vs leaning out further, but I think @nicksox15 was trying to lean out a little as well. may be simply that you're a bit higer bf than he is right now.

    Is the same coach doing all 3 of your programs, or did they assign you all different coaches?

    As far as you can tell, its all the same coach (Carl Jackson), but there's some question in the way they phrase things on their website that potentially all of the training plans caould be done by any "team member"... we asked initially but never got a clear answer. When I talk to Carl on the phone (or who I have to assume was Carl ha), he mentioned that the programming is done a bit less by just him, but that diet is 100% done by him as he's the only one certified to do so. Based on that comment, my assumption is the training is NOT all done by him, but the diets are.

    That's what I got also from speaking with Carl.
    I did ask I'm the contest thread who did both diet and training, because per there website it seems that they have a team and Carl just oversees everyone.
