The end.

seriously, I'm hooked. The ingredients are insanely good, it's all natural whole food goodness, not manufactured crap, and tasted insanely good, if a bit dry.

Pumpkin Spice FTW!

I agree. The ingredient profile is definitely the best MRB I have seen yet. I always have a box of these in case I can't get a meal in or am on the run. Taste is okay IMO but more than tolerable.

Perhaps I'll give the Pumpkin Spice flavor a try. I've only had the chocolate PB.

I must admit... of the bars on the market, VPX pretty well has the best profile out there. I need to pick some up sometime - having bars around wouldn't be a bad thing, my life is so busy. Have you tried any of the other flavors poison?

Only the Chocolate. The Peanut is new, haven't tried it yet. I'm hung up on the Pumpkin, which doesn't have much of a pumpkin flavor at all.

Any thoughts on detour's oatmeal bars? I like those myself.

Personally, I love the profile. The texture on the other hand tastes as if I exploded a sand missle in my own mouth.

10/10 ftw.

Pumpkin spice is pretty freaking incredible. I averaged 2 a day two summers ago during my stint at GNC. This thread makes me want a box.

Jennie's Omega-3 bars. Organic and highly addictive. The base is coconut, and I hate coconut, but these things are impossibly good. I can't stop eating them. They're not super high in protien (more of a healthy fat bar), but by god are they tastey.

Problem is VPX is notorious for fudging their product labels.

Indeed. Also, no one seems to notice the corn syrup, glycerine, malitol. Rest looks good, but caloric value is way to high for a simple food bar

Those are incredible due to their low glycemic index profile. I'll have a stick of ostrim to get a little extra protein along with a zero impact bar. I must have at least 2 cups of water due to the dry texture but it's worth it IMO.

What bar do you think is better? Have you looked at MetRX Big 100 bars? 50+ gr carbs with 25gr sugar. Corn syrup is high on the list.

Try a low carb bar. Maltitol/glycerine are high on the list. No fiber, and many times questionable sources of protein.

Ever see a Chef Jay's bar? Good ingredients, but soy protein and high is lesser fats.

I'll stick to VPX. ;)
