I'd like some help making my own custom protein mix.

I wanna create my own protein mixture. Each single addition of an ingredient counts for 5% of the mixture. That's until the 100% is reached. I have to try making up my mind, between the ingredients below, as to what I wanna add to my custom mix. I do enjoy a lot of protien because, after all, protein (and the amino acids contained within) are the 'building blocks of life.' However, I would like for my mix to contain only the purest, high-grade ingredients out of the choices given. The best for the muscles, recovery, etc. The price will be based solely on the amount of ingredients and how much of each ingredient. I'll be choosing the flavors, and a sweetener (Sucralose.) I'd really appreciate your help.

Proteins:

Hydrolized Casein
PeptoPro (Hydrolyzed Caseinate)
Hydrolyzed Whey Isolate (Ultra Grade)
Complete Milk Dairy Isolate
Milk Protein Isolate
Soy Protein Isolate (non-GMO)
Calcium Caseinate
Whey Protein Concentrate
Whey Protein Isolate (Microfiltrated)
Whole Egg Protein
Hemp Protein Powder
Whey Protein Isolate (Cold-Filtration)
Whey Protein Isolate (Ion-Exch)
Gemma Protein Isolate Powder
Hydrolyzed Whey Protein (High Grade)
Micellar Casein
Egg White Protein

Carbohydrates:

Dextrose
Amylocel (Waxy Maize Starch)
Fructose
Trehalose
Maltodextrin
Psyllium Seed Husk Fiber

Supplements:

Glutamine Peptides
DL-Phenylalanine
L-Arginine
L-Leucine
L-Glutamine
Acetyl L-Carnitine
L-Tyrosine
L-Valine
Betaine HCL
Taurine Powder
Essential Amino Acids (EAA's)
Ascorbic Acid (Vit C) Powder
Creatine Monohydrate Powder
Branch Chain Amino Acids (BCAA's) [Instantized]
Citrulline Malate
L-Isoleucine

Fats:

Medium Chain Triglyceride Powder (MCT)
Flax Seed Oil Powder

Others:

Aminogen (Protease Enzyme)
Aminogen / Vitamin & Mineral Mix
Vitamin & Mineral Mix

* I can also purchase any extra ingredients not listed, which I could mix in myself. I'm obviously open to any suggestions.

you could do 50% caesin 50% whey isolate

It would be convient for night time, day time almost any time. you could always buy the dextrose and WMS if you intend to use it post workout seperately as it will really help you save on the cost of the protien.

Which casein would you suggest, or does it not matter?

im not exactly sure what does what, but I think the popular brand of caesin is Micellar Casein. I don't know maybe it's just cheaper to use? It sure is popular though. try that or Calcium Caseinate.

For me during the day, I bought a 5 pound jug of ATW whey protien isolate. It's the only blend that Im not sorta allergic to. I cant seem to handle whey protien concentrate for some reason, weird.
At nighttime I do something like this, 1 cup of cottage cheese, 8 slices of thin sliced turkey cold cuts and a glass of milk. With that, probably 48grams of protien with caesin, milk protien and what ever protien the turkeys made up of. Fills me up more but probably not as cost effective as buying the protien powder.

Don't cold cuts have very unhealthy fillers in them?

probably, I limit it to nighttime use though. Quick and easy. I usually leave the cold cuts out though, but considering how my parents picked up a nice box of it I said hey, what the hell. Only problem I see with cold cuts is probably the sodium they put in the turkey. Pretty high if you ask me.

I love cold cuts. I guess there are factors to take into consideration, to determine whether or not there are fillers, too much sodium, etc. I'm sure brand has a lot to do with it.

yeah, Personally, Im not a big fan of cold cuts but I try to avoid brands like oscar myer. I go for the really thin sliced turkey cold cuts. For some reason, I do believe that my cold cuts do have a bit of fillers in them, some of the turkey is sorta smooth tasting while some actually look like it's carved up turkey. It's hard to describe but hey, if it taste good its all good. BJ's has some pretty good cold cuts. cheap too.

I personally like the work out maximizer better which is already pre mixed with protein carbs etc. I have done custom mixes in the past and although great for the price I would not do it all the time.

* I can also purchase any extra ingredients not listed, which I could mix in myself. I'm obviously open to any suggestions.
I would go for:

Serving Size: about 25gr.

Whey Protein Isolate (59%)
Soy Protein Isolate (30%)
Singular Free-Form L-Leucine (10%)

Vitamins E/C/B1/B2/B3/B5/B6/B12/Folate/Biotin all at 25% RDA per serving (about 25gr)

Protease (Enzymes) and Beta-Ecdysterone
Spinach Extract (contains Beta-Ecdysterone): about 100mg/serving
Beta-Ecdysterone: 200mg/serving
Papaya Extract (contains Papain): about 25mg/serving
Pineapple Extract (contains Bromelain): 25mg/serving
Pepper Extract (95% Piperine): 5mg/serving

Justification:

The short peptides of the whey protein isolate ensure a fast absorption, such that the well-known properties of whey supplementation such as muscle-growth support, gluthathione and insulin metabolism can be realized promptly.

The soy protein isolate delivers additional L-Arginine (soy has more than whey) to improve nitric-oxide metabolism, T3/T4 hormone synthesis, as well as positive effects on serum lipid levels. The combination of these two protein types delivers a more potent anabolic power than either alone (I already hear someone asking for studies to prove this!).

The plant extracts aid protein assimilation and metabolism.

Beta-Ecdysterone has many positives. Here, it aids nitrogen assimilation and metabolism, and supports the efficient conversion of dietary proteins to body-own proteins.

If you are looking for muscle-hardness and definition from proteins, then you might want to add some Egg-Albumin to the protein mix.

For a simple and effective protein, go with 40% egg/60% milk. That way it contains 3 proteins, including micellar casein, and provdes a steady stream of AA for many hours.

Well, I've completed my first idea for a custom protein mix. I'd like some opinions. Even suggestions, if you have any.

Proteins
35% Milk Protein Isolate
20% Whole Egg Protein
20% Egg White Protein
Carbohydrates
05% Amylocel (Waxy Maize Starch)
Supplements
05% Glutamine Peptides
05% Essential Amino Acids (EAA's)
05% Creatine Monohydrate Powder
05% Branch Chain Amino Acids (BCAA's) [Instantized]

*Ingredients above create a total of 100% of ingredients.

There will be 3 lbs of this, or more. I've still yet to decide on a flavor, but the mix will be sweetened with Sucralose (Splenda), and will also contain a Aminogen / Vitamin and Mineral Mix.

Sound good?

By the way, in case any of you are wondering, this is what the Supplement Facts will look like for this custom mix;

Serving Size 30 grams
Servings Per Pound 15

Total Calories 110.5
Calories from Fat 22

Total Fat 3.07g
Saturated Fat 0.94g
Cholesterol 102mg
Sodium 116.85mg
Carbohydrates 2.32g
Dietary Fiber 0g
Sugar 0.06g
Protein 20.78g
Vitamin A 60mg
Vitamin C 10.5mg
Calcium 0.21g
Iron 0.44mg

Another option is proteinfactory for custom blends. I have used them a lot with great success. They also state the Molecular weight of the hydrolyzed proteins.

I recommend trying a few different blends. For post-workout look for a fast digesting blend consisting of hydrolyzed proteins and a high GI carb. The lower the molecular weight the better on the hydrolyzed proteins. Peptopro is the lowest at 300 daltons. For night time and a good general use protein look at 25% whey isolate, 25% casein, 25% soy and 25% quality low glycemic carbs. Remember that hydrolyzed proteins don’t usually taste good except for the peptopro. Strategicmove posted the best vitamins and extracts to use for overall health and digestion.

I just don't know how I would go about to get some of those ingredients in bulk, or even in an appropriate form to add them to custom drink blends or custom capsules.

I will be sure to check out Protein Factory.

Thanks for your input.

Whenever I decide that I wanna cut, I may have come up with a good custom fat-loss/weight-loss mix;

Ingredients
10% Aussie Caseinate
30% CFM Whey Isolate
30% Ion Exchange Whey Isolate
05% EFA Powder
05% Oat Muscle
05% Tonalin CLA Powder
05% Creapure Creatine
05% Glutamine Peptides
05% Theta Amino's

Amounts Per Serving
Calories 203
Calories from Fat 26.4
Total Fat 2.9g
Saturated Fat 0.2g
Cholesterol 1.5g
Sodium 90.1g
Total Carbohydrates 4.2g
Dietary Fiber 0.3g
Sugars 0.3g
Protein 39.4g

It'd be sweetened with Splenda, of course. I'm thinking about tossing in a Vitamin & Mineral Mix and some Aminogen, but I'm not so sure if I'll add anything else. Other options are Carbogen, Peptides, Peak ATP, and Microlactin. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Those look good. However, use Rilose for your PWO carb as you will digest it faster. My concern with the PWO will be taste. You need a higher percentage of isolate to out do the bad taste of 520 or use peptopro if money will allow. Also think about oat-muscle as the carb in your MRP's.
