plasmavol and melatonin

I recently read in Flex and musclar development that using melatonin an hour before your workout can increase growth hormone release. I tried the 1 mg dose and was extremely tired and then backed it down to .5 and was pleasantly suprised to find that I had more stamina the following arm workout and was stronger with out being groggy afterward. Part of this may have been the plasmavol which so far I love. I went up 20 pounds on skull crushers than the week before and got 2 extra reps with that:bb:
anybody else try this mix yet I would love to hear your results or if mine were more by the power of suggestion than actual supplement gains.
