Gentlemen:
I am 21 in a few weeks and am a minor league baseball player (catcher). Below are my stats/history and potential supplement stack. Any evaluations, criticisms, suggestions are greatly appreciated...
6'0'' 210lbs ~14% bf bench 275 21yrs old in a few weeks... ran some heavy stuff this past winter/spring.... pct has been over for a month....lost a bit of strength/weight... lifting seriously for 3 years on a pretty consistant basis
This is my plan:
- Arginine AKG 3.5g 2x (wake up, 30 mnts prior to workout) EMPTY STOMACH
- CEE HCl 2g 2x (wake up, 30 mnts prior to workout) EMPTY STOMACH
- 2 Vit Shoppe Multi vitamins (breakfast)
- Tribulus ~ 750mg 3x (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
- DHEA 100mg 3x (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
- Fenugreek 1g 3x (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
- R-ALA 200mg 2x (breakfast, dinner)
- Glucosamine/Chondroitin/MSM 1 extra strength pill 2x (breakfast, dinner)
- OMEGA 3-6-9 one pill 3x (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
- Amino Acid Complex w/ BCAAs one dose 3x (breakfast, lunch, postworkout)
- Whey Protein Isolate 55g (post workout)
- Maltodextrin 50g (post workout)
- L-Glutamine 10g (post workout)
- Casein Protein 2 servings (before bed)
The Glucosamine/chondroitin/msm has really helped alleviate soreness in my throwing arm and the rest of my body. The fenugreek/dhea/trib is because my functions have not come back all the way and am looking for that "boost."
My goal is not to be an aesthetic specimen, although that would be welcome as a byproduct. I am simply looking to become stronger,quicker, more explosive, bigger, etc... Also, testing is not an issue for any of the supps I listed...
