MSM doesn't hold a candle to Cissus for joint pain & healing IMO. It is an aid for maintaining normal joint health but has no intrinsic "healing" properties. If you are xperiencing unbearable sides, just discontinue use. Is that the only change you have made to supps and diet?
"MSM is sold as a treatment for pain and inflammation from rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia and gout. There is little scientific data on MSM’s safety or benefits. In a statement to the Arthritis Foundation, Stanley Jacob, MD, one of the developers of MSM, says MSM’s major benefit for those with OA and RA is pain relief. It hasn’t been shown to preserve cartilage or to stop disease progression or joint destruction. Common side effects of taking MSM are diarrhea, stomach upsets or mild cramps. "
