Cissus and knee problems

I don't really ever need this type of stuff but I want to know if this would work for my old man. He basically has no cartilage left in his right knee and will not go under the knife again. He'd rather die. Had too many heart sugeries. I see many uses for ligament repair but not allot on acutal joint structures. I know nothing is going to replace the cartilage but how about relieving the pain. Any help is appreciated.

Also, do you think my mom can take this stuff. I was not sure if the ketosteroids were detrimental to an old woman.

for cartilage issues I believe celadrin, chondroitin, MSM are better than cissus.
