    Egg Whites International

I was just wondering if anyone knew if it was cheaper to buy liquid egg whites from Egg Whites Int. than to go to the grocery store, buy regular eggs, and separate the yolk from the white yourself. thanks

If you can find a local bakery supplier, you will be able to get 5 gallon buckets very cheap. I pay $15 for 5 gallons of egg whites. Just put them into small containers and freeze them.

You can buy 16 oz. containers of Egg Whites for about $1.75 at my local Krogers, or about $2.00 at Wal-Mart. That's for about 50 g of Egg Protein per container. I think if you do the math, it is MUCH cheaper than Egg Whites International.

Gordon Food Supplies has a solid price on Egg whites. $3 for 5 lbs frozen in a carton. A carton contains ~220 grams of protein. I would recommend placing a special order as they usually dont carry cases on hand. Only problem is Gordon isnt a national chain. Mainly around upper midwest (think Ohio). I have read a lot on the debate on egg whites and about absorption... but at $3 a carton if you are worried about not absorbing enough just eat or drink more and its not a big deal.

I tend to believe cracking them is the best way to go. I'm using Land O' Lakes Omega 3 eggs and boy I can tell the difference. Each serving contains 350mgs of Omega 3. The hens are vegeterian fed without animal fat, animal by-products, preservatives or antibiotics.

The result? An egg that's both naturally delicious and a good source of heart-healthy nutrition. Not to mention anabolic goodness!

I used to buy from Egg Whites Intl. Great product. A little to expensive for me though. If you can afford it go for it. I use the egg whites they sell in the grocery store. Not exactly sure what the brand name is though.Which surpises me because I see it everyday

Here's a pretty dumb question. I'm not a huge egg guy. Yeah I like an omlette now and then, and like hard boiled eggs in my salads. Wtf do you boys do with all those egg whites? Just straight drink em? Make omeletes? Anything else? I just figure some days I eat 5-6 eggs for breakfast (like 4 days a week) and other then that I get most of my protein from protein powder, chicken, steak, nuts, cottage cheese, milk, ect.

Well i normally have 8 egg whites once or twice a day. I have drank them once or twice before but most the time I add 4 egg whites each into two throw away bowls, add salt and pepper and throw em in the microwave till theyre scrambled. They definitly don't taste amazing. I'm still workin on finding somethn to make them taste better. But hey, we do it cuz their a whole food source, so better than powder and it gives you variety besides chicken and fish. I see nothin wrong with what your doin though

Anyone ever try the costco brand (kirkland I believe) egg beater's ? I like them because they're cheap, and you don't have to crack anything, when I get lazy Ieven drink them straight out of the carton.

I just drink them. Its not to bad after you get used to it. You can get them at Safeway. I believe they are called Peppeti 100% egg whites. I think thats what they are called.

Papetti Farms, I buy these also. Add some crystal light to it and then down it.
