    supplements for ligaments and tendons

What are the best supplements for ligaments and tendons? I've tried glucosamine and chondroitin and msm, didn't really help. Have any of you tried collagen?

I used celadrin with minimal results, but cissus actually helps out my knee pain a lot.

i've had great results from those. sometimes they take a while to work. how long did you take them for?

Glucosamine can take up to 6 weeks before you notice anything.

Another thing worthy of note is that soft tissue will not heal while it is inflamed, no matter what you throw at it. Reducing the inflamation is thus of prime importance. Devil's claw root has been used to that effect for more than 5,000 years, so I guess one might say it's a proven one. There's also a spice, but I forget its name. And of course some things the other guys mentioned might have some anti-inflamatory properties but I do know that glucosamine/chondroitin/msm don't.

I have a horrible left knee (miniscus, mcl, and patella) and gluc/cond with celadrin has made a huge difference...I also tried cissus, but that seemed to help more with tendonitits for me...try them all see what works for you
