safety of D-Ribose

So i came across the study above which links long-term D-Ribose use with memory loss and anxiety-like behaviour in mice.
I calculated the doses that a 70kg person like me would've taken in the study though and the numbers came out at
0.375g/kg.d * 70 = 26.25g.d
3.75g/kg.d * 70= 262.5g.d
Which is significantly more than the 10-15g.d people are recommended.

What do you guys think about the results of the study and do you feel that 5-15g.d of D-Ribose is safe?

2. That’s not how you find human equivalence dose. Do more research into how to properly do this with the animal that is being used in the study. Come back with what you think the HED is.

3. After finding the HED, ask yourself if this still make sense.

4. Why are we concerned with D-Ribose in the first place. I don’t know anyone taking this.

Oh i should have mentioned that i have used it when i was young....aaaaannnnd the only thing i got from it was an empty wallet.

OK, so here's how to do the HED conversion:

Low Dose: 0.375 g/kg * 0.08 = 0.03 g/kg (for a human) * 80 kg = 2.4g (for an 80 kg human)

High Dose: 10x the low dose = 24g (for an 80kg human)
