I seem to remember reading that maca can induce sleeplessness but this isn't something that popped up recurrently in my reading. I've recurrently read that ginseng can also induce sleeplessness. What have you guys read about maca and sleep? Also, do maca and ginseng need to be cycled?

I’d take both in the morning or afternoon and it should be fine; neither are really stimulating, but I suppose it’s possible they could keep some people up if taken too late. Maca seems to take a few weeks to really kick in, so should be ran for at least a few months IMO, while ginseng (panax) should be cycled more often. I recall one study showing benefits at four weeks of daily use, but a return to baseline at 8 weeks, so I’d probably stick to 4 week cycles of panax ginseng.

I would go with a morning dose. Like most things I would cycle off after 8 weeks.
