Supps for muscle preservation during extended training sessions

Just wondering what supplements people take during extended training sessions?
I'm not talking about weight lifting, but rather MMA/Striking 2-3 hour sessions.

Bcaa's?
Hydra Head Six By Antaeus Labs? This looks interesting.

Otherwise bringing a protein bar and smashing it half way through the session? They don't seem to agree with me most of the time tho.

I'd say picking up a carb drink would be good to take during your training. If you're training for 2-3 hours your're gunna want to replenish your carbs. So a drink like glycofuse or some type of carb drink would be beneficial in my opinion.

A carb drink would only be good if your doing heavy resistance training and really depleting glycogen and insulin. Also if you can do a weight session for 2-3 hours your probably not training hard enough. As far as cardiovascular or MMA training then a BCAA product with added glutamine would be beneficial. Also eating a low glycemic carb (oatmeal or sweet potato).
