Hi

i buy this from a bulk supplier , however when taking it i dont get any of the tingles that people talk about.

Could it be an inferior supply or do i not react to it and pointless me taking it?

thanks

1- not everyone gets the tingles equally
2- after continued use the tingles go away

How much are you taking? It doesn't have to give you the tingles to demonstrate its effectiveness. As BloodManor stated.

It is also dose dependent.
500-750 mg will probably not give anyone tingles.

Effective dosing for me has been 3-4 grams.

The efficacious doses lies between 1.6 and 3.2 grams. Tingles are subjective as someome mentioned, and they go away with repeated use. For it to be effective you should take it daily anyway

In addition to what everyone already said, if you're using bulk beta alanine, you may want to take it with food, which also reduces tingles for many people:
the efficiency of carnosine loading is significantly higher when PBA is coingested with a meal (+64%) compared with in between the meals (+41%), suggesting that insulin stimulates muscle carnosine loading.

I personally love the tingles. I hate that they go away after two days, for me.

Love the tingles too. It as mentioned, they usually wear off after some time. If the question is the quality, try Sns BA. It's as high quality as there is so if you're not getting the tingles at 3.2g of it, you're just unlucky (or lucky I guess if you dislike the tingles ha)

You could also buy a small batch of CarnoSyn BA and test your "tingle response" with that using your current protocol. If you don't get them, then you'll know - if you do, then your supplier is bad. You can do the same with GABA - on an empty stomach, 5g will tingle like a mofo and take your breath away for about 5 seconds (hits about 5-10minutes after taking).

Primaforce makes good products. I've been using SNS and it works well. I usually dose 2 - 3G a day.

Used both Primaforce/Smart Powders and SNS, been happy with both companies. Obviously the tingles wear off once saturated but they "work" for what it's worth. Such a great low cost ergogen.
