Hi!
I do a 7-day fast 2-4x/yr (for many reasons). Muscle loss is certainly a problem, but other health benefits make it worth it. To mitigate muscle loss, I'm thinking about adding Ur Spray to the supp stack. For those of you who have used Ur Spray, what kind of protocol would you use?
I'm thinking 1 bottle, start week prior and continue during fast, run out at about the same time fast ends. Is 1 week of loading enough, or just a waste of money?
The rest of the stack will be:
b-OHB as KetoCaNa
MCT as coconut oil & MCT powder
Caffeine+L-Theanine, also possibly ephedrine-caffeine stack (25mg ephedrine 1-3x/day, depending on how wired I get from b-OHB and pending any sleep problems)
BCAAs (prob Scivation XTEND PERFORM 2-3x/day)
Multi (O.N.E. from Pure Encapsulations)
Creatine ~5g/day
Mg-Threonate pre-bed, 2g
Phosphatidylserine pre-bed, 300mg
HIIT and lifting before to kickstart ketosis. During fast: no lifting, plenty of walking. Lotsa H2O w/ NaCl, KCl (KetoCaNa and XTEND PERFORM will provide most electrolytes).
