New here and recently got put on trt treatment and at week 6 200mg test cypionate weekly. My doctor is a fool and didn't even know to test estrogen. When she did she tested total and it was at 85, but I know she should be testing estrodial which I believe is up. My nipples are real itchy and get sensitive. I bought nolvadren xt but not sure i should use with weekly injections? All I want is estrogen in control and maybe avoid AI from doc. I was reading Smoky Mountain DIM also works well. Any advice for this newbie would be great. Thanks

10/4, I will check it out. I just purchased this nolvadren xt and hoping it works for time being. A lot of people online are saying it makes their joints hurt, so keeping eye on that also

Thats possible, low estrogen will dry out your joints.

Talk to your doctor about it. Or get a referral to a different endocrinologist instead of self medicating with an OTC AI that "might" work.

Definitely will. I leave on vacation tomorrow for 2 weeks, then come back to blood work and will talk then. I've taken this 3 days and sensitive nipples are pretty much gone and mood is fine.

Dude if you have itchy/sensitive/puffy nipples you should get to a doctor immediately and get pharmaceutical help (nolvadex is the usual fix for nipple stuff I think, but I'm not a doctor and haven't been on hormonal injections before, so don't take my word for it; get to the doctor ASAP). Also seems like changing to a better doctor is in order (although for now you need to get your meds).

Mikegee that means the dose is too high for you body chemistry. Anyone on test will have higher estrdiol but 25mg. 50mg 200mg hits everyones body chemistry dif. 200mg is a lot and seems you have normal to high aromatization activity.

Like they said. Go tell the doctor that dose is giving you itch nipples. Personally if I ever was put on TRT id tell them to start me at like 30mg and go frm there but I know my body.

Yeah, as others have said you should inform your doctor. It's important that each Doctor is different so it's also your responsibility to come in to your doctor and be firm about what you want/need as long as it is reasonable. If the doctor isn't taking care of you, thank him/her for their time and find one that will.

First off, your doctor should never start you at a dose of 200mg, that is something that was common 5-6 years ago before they knew much about TRT and hormone treatment. Things are much improved now and it is better understood, but primarily by specialists.

BTW- with a proper protocol, you should not need an AI on TRT in most cases.
