Thanks for the support Grassroots082! Means a lot!
No sesathin while on, but definitely looks like it would be a very good product to switch to post cycle!Originally Posted by Grant
I just started taking x-factor and i had few questions. Why is it a poor choice to consume omega-3's while on it and does that include no egg yolks? Also, i am 6'7" and 290lbs so would it be unsafe if i used more than 5 pills a day, and if it is safe would it be any more effective?
You shouldn't mix the two because Omega 3's compete with AA for membrane storage and enzyme binding, causing less active (anabolic) prostaglandings to be formed. Eggs are fine if you don't overdo it, as they have omega 3's (avoid the high O3 brand eggs).Originally Posted by street bear
More than 5 per day shouldn't be dangerous, as there is no known accute toxicity or overdose with this fatty acid (it is only a fatty acid after all). But I suspect higher doses will lead to greater protein degradation. As it is, even at 5 you often need to intake mucho calories to grow. More might just be "too much" change in protein turnover rates.
Admittedly we have never recommended more than 5, so there isn't a lot of feedback. For liability reasons we'd never directly recommend taking more either..
Well then lets see what happens. I will try 7 a day for 50 days. As far as calories go i already consume in the 5000 a day range so i hope that is sufficient. One more question, as far as the omega 3's go what if you were to take them at seperate times as the x factor. Because i generally get up and take my pills first thing and then i drink a shake, about an hour later i make breakfast which always includes whole eggs? It's not that i have to eat eggs, its just that it is an easy source of protien for me and i eat alot of the little bastards. Thanks for the quick response to my last question, i appreciate it.
The fatty acids actaully sit stored in your muscle tissue, and are liberated during training. So they have a slow and delayed effect in many regards, making timing like this less important that just total daily intake..Originally Posted by street bear
I wouldn't go absolutely nuts cutting every Omega 3 from your diet, but I defintiely wouldn't recommend taking supplements..
Best of luck with it!
