    Syr GF-Pro review

After using and enjoying the two Primaforce WPI flavours, its time to try something else.
My decision was to choose between Ergopharm GF-pro and Sytrax Nectar. I decided to try this first, not for the added dried plasma but for the flavour: I love orange.
Finally someone made a whey this flavour. Was it good? Read below

I almost followed the instructions. I put one spoon in 8 oz of water, but I added 2 oz of skimmed milk. I always do that to avoid the "flushed water" taste that i normally get from protein shakes with water or juice.

    Mixability: 5/5
Finally some protein powder that mixes with a spoon!
I have to say that the Vitargo i put in my post-WO drink helps with mixability, but in this case it was perfect. Not a single clump.

    Taste: 5/5
I'm difficult to please. I like quality food and i hate things too sweet (example: swole v2) or too acidic (example: StaminO2). I feared that this was a bit too acid, but the word "cream" put after orange made relieved me. And I was right.
The smell of the powder is delicious. The smell of the shake is the same. The flavour is excellent, but the smell is even better
The taste is of a refreshing orange, but with a retrotaste of cream.

    Price: 4/5
Expensive, but there are no doubts on the quality. Sidenote: Iin UK Nectar price is the same

    Overall: 5/5
Recommended without reserves. Even if the bovine plasma does nothing.

Mad cow is a bitch. I'd imagine there is little risk, but there are so many excellent proteins to choose from.

I think I'd go bankrupt with how expensive it is.

uhm.. there's mad cow in the US too?
even if that, are u sure that it can be transmitted with dried spry plasma?

Then u dont want to know how much i paid for
Anyway, I workout 3 times a week and i take WPI only post-workout. A 2lb tub lasts 2 months for me.

The difference between this and a cheaper protein is on the 5€/month. That is marginal, considering how much i spend on "stuff".

That's the $64,000 question... we're talking about rogue proteins, not bacterium. There have been rare cases of mad cow in the US and Canada.

The Green Apple is amazing... very pricey

GF Pro over Nectar: any flavor, any day of the week.

Well If I ever get a wild hair up my ass and decide to spend 40 bucks on a 2lber of protein then I might have to try the Green Apple.

this stuff is by far the best fruit flavored protein. the raspberry lemonade is aweseome. people say its really expensive, but you can find it for like 29 and its 2.18 lbs so you get a little more than the typical 2 lb, and its only like 5 bucks more than the 2 lb, so in all i say you only pay a couple extra bucks for a top quality awesome tasting protein

I have Orange Cream and Cherry Blast, both are very good. I tried Rasberry Lemonade, it was o.k., but I won't buy it again, just my opinion.

The other day I decided to try mixing Cherry Blast with Beverly UMP Chocolate. Unbelievable!!! I swear it tastes just like a chocolate covered cherry!!!

Later that day I mixed Orange Cream with Beverly Ultra Size Vanilla. Again, Unbelievable!!!

These two quality companies proteins mixed together are amazing!!! If you haven't tried it yet, you should, you won't be disappointed!!!

I know it is a bit pricey to do, but if you have them both give it a shot.

By the way, I have found both GF-Pro and both Beverly products for around $29.00 each also.

Green Apple is still the best IMO.
It tastes like a Jolly Rancher (remember those things?)

LOL but thats true. 5$ more on a monthly basis is nothing. I could just opt to NOT try some other supp and save 15-20 bucks
The problem is that i love to try new stuff

Tastes are very subjective. I would never try the green apple. Someone in the past said that its similar to the flavour if StaminO2, which is definitely too acid for me.

Its not easy to find Beverly in Europe. Cherry Blast will be my next pick. Cherries are my favourite fruit.

Question about mixing GF pro orange with vanilla: would any other vanilla whey be good to try this mix? I have Dymatize vanilla (and i DONT like it alone, i always mix it with some chocolate stuff).

I have never tried Dymatize at all, so I don't know what their stuff tastes like.

Give it a try, the Orange Cream might make it taste better!

The Ultra Size that I mixed it with is not just whey, some of it's ingredients are:

    milk protein isolate
    whey protein
    egg white
    cream
    maltodextrin
