intermittent fasting hemavol or high volume

  1. intermittent fasting hemavol or high volume

Would these break fast? I took hemvol when doing a lean bulk n had great pumps. What are the calorie contents in these if any?

  2. No it won't break the fast.

  3. Edit: GMS is a combination of glycerol (a carbohydrate) and stearic acid (a fatty acid). There are a few calories in GMS, so if you are trying to be extremely strict on your fast I would avoid it during fasting periods

If I'm not mistaken you will get a few calories from the GMS but it is negligible and should not break a fast

  5. How would it be any different than what's listed on Glycergrow? For an 8.33g serving it says 54 calories all coming from fat. So 6g of GMS would account for those calories. GMS is a fat correct?

  6. So there is calories in these products..?
    Thanks for the replays

Yeah, but if that's all you would be taking during your fast I wouldn't sweat it, don't have the science on hand but I'd suggest checking out leangains.com. A negligible amount of calories will not break your fast

  9. I use hemavol while CKD or IFing great stuff really

  10. Negligible in the big picture of things. I've never had an issue using Hemavol during a fasted period.

Do you have any Idea on how it's metabolized? To my understanding its an incomplete fat.

Indeed I do, and it would still count as calories, although like others said it's not much.
