Ok to use nitrates instead of hawthorne berry on cycle?

Everyone uses hawthorne berry and celery seed extract on cycle to combat increased bp during a cycle. I find that products containing nitrates reduce my bp more effectively than cycle support products not to mention the increase in endurance. So I'm wondering if its ok to use nitrates instead and just take a dedicated liver support product.

I like cycle assist because it's cheap and has more functions that keeping healthy BP levles. At the price why not add it in?

Well I already have aegis for liver support and potassium nitrate. I want to know if nitrates are suitable for the BP side of cycle protection.

I wouldn't rely on it to be honest. It may lower BP initially, but once the nitrates are gone, what protection will you have then?

I remenber reading a post years back, on another fórum, saying that nitrates should be very effective reducing bp. It was from someone from Thermolife's r&d IIRC, but that's just my 2 cents if you know what I mean

They definitely are. No doubt. But for how long?

For my money i wouldn't use it over something like Cycle Assist. Added nitrates on top of that would be great, but no in lieu of.

Yeah that's what I'm wondering. The half life of nitrates vs the half life of hawthorn berry. I would rather use the liver suppoort I have and just use nitrates for bp if it can be used for that purpose.

potassium nitrate will lower blood pressure for sure, but i'm not sure i'd rely on it for cycle needs......i'd still with hawthorn berry's, celery seed, grape seed, garlic for on cycle...you could still use potassium nitrates but i'd stack it with something else instead of using it on it's own for bp reasons

I find PN to be amazing for lowering BP, but only short term. I think that it is much stronger in the short term and people need to be careful with the dose, but hawthorne is better for general lowering. I've brought mine down about 5-6pts with hawthorne and take it as a staple. I am not cycling, it is just for general health.

I used PN during a cycle and the pump was nuts! Loved it, but made the drive home or to work a whole nother story.
