Gyno from arimistane (nolvadren xt / erase)

Hello AMers,

I'm here to ask a question about wtf is going on with my nipples. Ha :/

I'm 26 never touched AAS but have used arimistane (PES Erase) twice in the past for 6 weeks at 50mg ED both times. It leaned me out on a cut and I loved it with no sides but dry joints.

I decided to run arimistane, ordered Nolvadren XT by MAN sports from NP, ran it this spring and was 4 weeks into 75mg a day and was feeling great! Visible veins on my abdomen and great feeling besides dry joints. Then I got a flu and an injury in the gym on the same day and stopped all supplements (arimistane, eca, creatine, narala, glucosamine and cissus). This was a week ago.

While sick I binged hard, I don't even understand why I couldn't stop eating: gained 12 lbs. I also been taking 1600mg ibuprophen daily.

Now for the past four days my nipples are acting up for the first time ever. Puffy and if I squeezed a small amount of clear liquid comes out of both. My whole chest is achy and today my nipples are starting to throb. I'm in disbelief but besides the lack of a hard gland, it sounds like early gyno eh? There is a fullness to the bottom of my pecs, particularly my left that looks wrong and feels fatty.

I started 150mg b6 BID yesterday in case it's prolactin, and no fluid anymore. Not sure if related.

I've ordered research chem raloxefine and plan to run it when it gets here in 10 days at 60mg ED for two months if it hasn't gotten better. I'll taper it and hope I won't need another AI to get off it.

I also plan to go to a clinic tomorrow to get blood work done to see wtf is going on. I doubt the drs here could offer more than bloods. Really it's canada so I wouldn't be surprised if they refuse bloodwork too.

My main question is whether I should stay on a low dose of the arimistane until the SERM gets in? I took half a 37.5mg pill the past two days.

I wasn't expecting to have to deal with this **** on a OTC AI but now I'm in over my head and would greatly value any wisdom or advice from forum members here.

Also, WTF ... I googled like crazy and there's a few peeps who have claimed gyno from erase and other arimistane containing sups but forum reps deny the possibility. I thought it was a suicidal AI so I do t understand what could be happening.

I don't have access to anything besides the ralox in over a week and my chest looks and feels fat and my left pec is asymmetrical.

Here's a pic from today:

im going to go out on a limb here and say its all in your head... well most of it.
what I think has happened is you gorged for a week and gained 12 lbs of glycogen storage (your holding water and glucose). this made your tits looks all puffed up so you freaked out. started squeezing **** and got some fluid to release. QUIT fukn touching them man! next don't bother with a serm cause im betting you, that you don't have gyno.
besides that ... your gonna make **** worse. just firkin quit touching and quit worring. get back to your diet, keep taking the b6 and most of all, relax man. its gun be fine.

Probably just over reacting but I'd question where the products were picked up from. Amazon and ebay are not the best market places to buy supplements from, just ask USP Labs.

Highly doubt you have any real issue. Chill out, get your diet on track, drink tons of water, and for the love of god quit playing with your nips. I'm betting in a week you'll look and feel just fine one the carb bloat goes away

Amazon is a great place to purchase supplements. I've only once had a problem and it was resolved extremely quickly with the A-Z guarantee. Plus it also depends on if you're purchasing directly from Amazon or a marketplace seller. Still, Amazon is completely safe. I've purchased from them for years and will continue to do so. Plus Amazon is not synonymous with Ebay.

OK thanks for the feedback all.

To answer the question: I bought the Nolvadren XT (MAN) sealed off of Nutraplanet.com

I am taking half a cap (eyeballed) each day now in hopes if I taper off over the next two weeks it will prevent this from getting worse.

There is definitely extra fat on my left chest, over my pec and under my nipple. It looks very feminine from the side.

I went to a Dr. she said there was no gland but extra fat. Ordered TSH + Prolactin bloods. I reqed E + T and she added E2, and Total T. So no SHBG, LH or Free T test but at least I'll have some idea if my E2 is way up. If E2 is up I'll ask for SHBG & LH.

Seriously though. WTF arimistane... how you give me gyno symptoms? Have many others experienced this?

Would it be worthwhile to buy I3C from the local supp shoppe?

Should I drop the AI right away?

I posted at steroid forum and they said run ralox or tamox asap.

Tamoxifene won't help. Ralox or torem. Anyway I seriously doubt arimistane has anything to do with it...

lqtm .. I'm sure they did

dietary-induced gyno is a very real phenomenon..you say you gained 12lbs in a week, binged?
why do you not think that has some responsibility in the equation, and why are you so quick to blame a compound that simply does not cause gyno?

What the hell, seriously just go to the doctor. Internet message boards are not your doctor. I'd never get medical advice from the interwebz. I really don't understand this blind trust people have for strangers on the internet to consult them on medical problems. More and more of these threads just keep popping up. Really, its like walking down the street and pulling you pants down in front of a stranger and saying, "Hey can you check out this rash on my dong?".

Strong this. Do NOT touch it man. Looking at the pic your nips don't look gyno-ish. You're more than likely over thinking things causing you to believe you have gyno

Something similar actually happened to me. I got sick, felt a pain in my nips, "looked" weird. It's been about 3wks since, everything is fine

Relax, bro

OK I'm really staying calm on this best I can. Blood results will be in tomorrow. I stopped the arimistane and b6 completely yesterday to get a better read of what's going on.

My left tit had a good ml or two of clear liquid today, whole left spec feels covered in a layer of fat and my left chest feels swollen despite not lifting for a week.

What really worries me is how big my left chest is getting compared to my right.

Here's a pic showing what I mean. Its mirrored so the right side is actually the left.

i.imgur.com/ad0ioJZ.jpg

Thanks for the reassurance and feel back you all. I've started back at 25mg a day and the b6 till the ralox gets in case my e2 turns out ****ed tomorrow.

Can anything else besides gyno cause sudden asymmetrical chest fat and soreness? My nips themselves seem alright...

Did you squeeze that clear liquid out because it could've just even puss lol. Also chest imbalances happen, it's normal, it is impossible to be 100% symmetrical.

Well damn. I'm just crazy I guess...

Bloods came back.

Test 550
E2 <27 (blood test only says that's it's less than 27, not the range)
Prolactin 12 ug/L
TSH 0.90 mU/L

All in normal range. Test is low for my age, bummer that's the case only a day after stopping a "test booster". I'll recheck in a month plus SHGB and T4.

I'm hoping I just had an imbalance and the 12 lb bloat and fat gain made it show more. I don't get why my left pec is so sore though.

I've never done single arm anything so maybe it's time to start. Huh.

Thanks again everyone.

K so now there is a painful lump beneath my left nip. So damn sore. I'm sure it's the arimistane because it started getting weird 2 days after stopping last time (10 days ago).

I'm thinking when I got the bloodwork my e2 was still low bc aroma taste hadn't regenerated from the AI yet. I dunno though, I'm going to wait a week to level out then go get it redone. I'm getting raloxefine in the mail.

Since you don't feel like listening and doing the opposite try this, pinch your nipples continually while taking Ralox.

You got fat and it deposited some under your nipple. Stop being a head case and go exercise

WTF this just keeps progressing. My left pec is still holding more fat even though I've dailed in my diet and dropped some bloat elsewhere.

Worse is now there is a half-marble lump on my left pec just left of my left nipple. Its like a rope of little beads across my chest...

I'm going back to the Dr. to ask if it was the arimistane or what and maybe get more bloodwork. I just don't get how the Nolvadren XT caused this...

Sorry if I missed it earlier, but you may want to ask to be referred to an Endocrinologist.

I'm amazed at some of the replies. He states he was taking these products and then gets a fluid discharging from his nipple, and you say it's in his head?! The itchy or painful nipples can be a bit subjective and in his head, but not discharge from the nipples. OP, I will send you a PM in a little bit.

No absolutely not. Sorry, you and me were replying around the same time and your post hadn't showed up. I agree with him seeing a specialist, but not just any specialist but one that was a bodybuilder himself or one that has frequently dealt with bodybuilders and steroids. There all over you just have to look. For example, a specialist doesn't know what these products are, and he may assume "ahh galactorrhea, we must treat the elevated prolactin levels." but in fact they are normal. Google the steroid pathway and focus on the Androstendione and Aromatase pathways and you will see what you are playing around with with these "safe" OTC supplements. I know this isn't a steroid, but you are still playing around with hormones. And I'm not sure about the new formula of Erase, but the old one definitely applies here. Ofcourse many people will have no problems with Erase, but the OP happened to be sensitive to the effects of the product.

Actually armistane has been shown multiple times NOT to lower estrogen levels, so I'm curious. If you squeeze any part of your skin hard enough you can make puss come out. He said 2mL though, that's a lot of phucking liquid

??? I'm not sure what kind of mutant body you have but this isn't normal. First of all, if you squeeze any part of your skin hard enough yes a liquid can come out. We call that blood and you just created a small wound on yourself. And second, puss is indicative of an infection--A collection of neutrophils in excess to ward off the invading bacteria. You don't get "puss" from simply squeezing any area of skin hard enough. You shouldn't get it at all unless you have an infection.

I would love to see an endo.

I went to the GP today. In Canada GPs only refer if you are having life threatening or serious illness. Side effect of having free med care is scare allocation of resources.

Anyways, he felt the lump and said "some guys get lumps" and because its "not cancer" there's nothing to do but wait and see and re-do blood work in a month or two.

Since I am not satisfied with being a guy who "gets lumps" (want symmetry and to not have sore lumps), I started the ralox today at 60mg ED for a month until I can get that next set of bloodwork.

So, out of curiosity: could it be the 7-keto-dhea in novladren xt causing the estrogen issues? can gyno be caused by other estrogens besides estradiol, the one I was tested normal for?

Ok, heres a thought:

7-keto-DHEA & 7-OH, found in nolvadren xt -> ^T4/T3 -> decreased TSH.

My bloods were borderline low TSH. Maybe the other ingredients gave me temporary hyperthyroid and that lead to the odd gyno despite normal e2?

Here is a related case study.
