I am not sure if someone mentioned GLA supplementation in regards to ArA supplementation, so I thought I'd add this info to the thread. I have a bottle of borage oil in my cabinet and was considering trying it again for eczema (not proven to work here but I already have the oil so what the heck, right?). Borage oil is supplemented for its GLA content. As we can see, referring to the image, GLA converts to DGLA. DGLA can go one of two ways. It can itself directly convert to ArA (another theoretical reason I was considering adding it to the ArA I am taking preworkout), however, in the human body the majority of DGLA (in regards to what came from higher doses of supplemental GLA, not normal dietary amounts) actually goes to the left and creates anti-inflammatory cytokines, which directly compete and inhibit the effects of ArA. So, I concluded that I will be saving the GLA for a later date and not combine with ArA. I know this supplement is not used by many people, or even heard of by some, but in case you got the idea of it converting to ArA and helping, think again. It likely would hinder the benefits of taking ArA in supplemental doses.

Hi. I have the following supplements that I've bought over the past few month but have not used.
Two bottle SNS X-Gels
Two bottles OL Ep1logue
Two bottles OL Massacr3
Two bottles Blackstone labs Growth
Two bottles EPG Testo-shred
1 lb bag of Glycerol Monostearate
Two bottles of PES Anabeta Elite
Along with the normal Protein (PES Select), 12 lbs bag of NOW Carbo gain, a few bottles of BCAAS and pre workouts.
I have an idea how I was going to stack them but I just never got around to using them since I felt like my diet was not on point and I would just be wasting my money.
I am 186 lbs and about 17% Body-fat. I want to get to 200 lbs 8-10%.
I have only ever used the normal protein, creatine, bcaa etc.
Please give me some advice on how I can stack these to get maximum benefit and reach my goals. If it means I can get two seperate stacks from the above list and run them consecutively or use all together (unlikely).
I know this is asking alot from your time, but please bear with me. -

What exactly are carnitine salts though? Is that like any form of carnitine? Or is it something specific?
Either way, from reading the thread i guess the consensus would be that the baby aspirin works better?
Is it ok to use white willow bark in its place?

I would run the X gels and glycerine first. Start X gels at 6 caps on workout days, 30 minutes before you workouts. Run until you are out. Then run the other stuff.
Most people run ALCAR. You can run 81mg aspirin so white willow bark might work...Serious Nutrition Solutions Representative

Personally, if I were you, I'd start with 4 gels (recommended dosing) and go from there.
I notice a better pump with 6-8 but I'm usually anywhere between 190-200lbs. If you've never used them before, I'd highly recommend them assuming you don't have any inflammatory related health issues. Great strength, great pumps, much improved all day muscle fullness. - 01-17-2018, 12:09 AMOLYMPUS LABS

I'm thinking about running X-Gels after my 2nd bottle of MassMax is gone as ARA supplementation really seems to be getting more and more proven as time goes on. I may even stack X-Gels and MassMax since my training is in the morning (6am), giving me enough time throughout the day to dose MassMax away from X-Gels. Hmm..

This has so much info, it’s insane. Everything makes sense here so thanks for all the mind blowing knowledge. My small question though: what’s the consensus on off days? Dosing or not dosing? I’m taking the ARA by enhanced athlete with my PWO and it feels amazing, definitely sore. Was just wondering about off days. I usually do 5 on with weekends off. I follow a Keto diet weekdays and carb refeed on weekends. Any advice would be much appreciated. TIA.

That’s what I was figuring. Thank you for the help. Just picked up some lecithin and baby aspirin so I’m all set.
Lastly, I am running a DAA stack. Should pose no problem correct? I take the pills at night, and don’t workout until about 4-5pm in the day. I know it’s a different product all together but just wanted to make sure there wasn’t an issue. - 01-17-2018, 01:21 PM
as far as the studies state inflammation doesnt occur during ara supplementation, every time I try to take it I get all kinds of aches and pains in my joints and muscles where former injuries occurred. I wish I could continue but never get through a full bottle before its unbearable. With all the results people get from it Id love to give it a full go but Ive tried on 3 separate occasions and never was able to get through a full 50 days. perhaps its my age and injury history but sadly its just not for me.

You certainly are not alone in your experience. Having preexisting injuries and/or an established inflammatory based disease/condition can definitely lead to exacerbations with ARA supplementation. It’s important to remember that the studies showing no increase in inflammatory markers or negative side effects were done with healthy male subject who likely did not have any preexisting issues before taking the ARA. in your case I’d deff stay away from taking it simply because the risk of reinflaming an old injury could lead to counterproductive results, ie you get hurt again and end up worse off from where you started.

Already is in my book
There is a reason why most non staple supplements from 2006 aren't around anymore and ArA still is.
kick ass stack right there!
Just an FYI but ENhanced Althlete ArA is kind of a scam (or at least super untruthful). They label their supplement so it look like its a large dose but it's actually much more expensive than X gels an X factor. There is discussion on it in this thread. Next time opt for X gels
DAA should be fine.Serious Nutrition Solutions Representative

I was reading that’s Cissus would be counter productive as well as taking ARA. Are there any joint supplements that I can take that wont interfere with the process? How about Hyaluronic Acid? Gluco/MSM mix?
