I'm starting Layne Norton's cutting guide and he suggests a shake consisting of 20-40 grams of protein and about 20% of your daily carb intake.
My question is, because soy protein has a higher leucine concentration, wouldn't it be more beneficial to drink during one's workout? If so, let's say one trains 3-4 times a week, would 40 grams of soy protein impact their hormone levels?
