They seem to have their place. My best advice would be to check the formulas and search the actives. Berberine shows quite a bit of promise.

  2. Bulk Berberine is the absolute most horribly awful tasting thing on this planet. I've heard that it was bad but figured I've thrown back some pretty bad tasting bulk supps. Boy was I wrong!!!

Yep. I thought Cissus powder was bad but Berberine kicks Cissus ass in the bad tasting department. The taste stays in your mouth/throat forever!

I need to badly. I've been parachuting it.

  7. I've tried a few gda's with mixed results... AP is my fav for doing what it says. Pumps me up like crazy and seems to help move things along in the right places. Glycophase was ok for the pumps and such but was spectacular pre bed for deeper and more refreshing sleep. Also tried slintensity was eh all around. Nothing great to speak of there.

Bulk berberine makes bulk Cissus seem like candy.

If you can handle bulk berberine you can handle anything.

Just make sure you don't go out in public before making sure your teeth aren't bright yellow.

AP is great. I just started using Recompadrol and absolutely loving it. 1 cap per carb meals and 2 pre massive cheat meals. Its potent stuff so you really don't need much.

The two ingredients in AP are used in glycophase

I think AP throws people off with naming it how they do.

Well, they're dosed differently, different extracts, and combined with different ingredients so he hasn't really used AP

Great for joints and also has some appetite suppression properties if taken fasted, I take it before breakfast typically as I lift in the afternoon and as an anti inflammatory it should be taken away from your workout

  31. How much time away from a workout should you dose it? I like already having it in my system before a go to workout to help elevate some minor joint pain.

I was initially recommended 4 hours apart. Inflammation is needed for muscle growth.

  33. Also, I know it is proven to have healing properties with bones and tendons, but is there any evidence of cissus having anabolic/androgenic properties?

Does cissus have anabolic qualities, that you know of. I've heard that said, but do not know personally.

By allowing you to lift heavier, you could say it has anabolic qualities.

I'd have to disagree. My knee wraps allow me to squat more.

I think he is referring to it being wrongly included in sports supplements as being a direct anabolic. Due to the fact it shows properties of this in bones and has bone fracture studies to back it, some sports companies took that to be anabolic in bones = anabolic in muscle.
