I know tribulus is a very maligned supplement in these and other forums. I also know that there are no solid clinical tests supporting the theory that it increases testosterone levels. Yet there does seem to be a somewhat solid minority of people, e.g., Jamie Lewis of Chaos & Pain fame, who seem to be of the opinion that it does have some ergogenic effects, particularly at higher dosages or levels, i.e., at least 4 grams a day. Does anyone have any experience or ancedotal stories regarding this type of usage? Or, is anyone familiar with any legitimate studies regarding its use at higher dosages? Any input would be appreciated.
