    Melatonin. Luvox? Video Games?

Ok so i have night eating disorder. I fall asleep fine but wake up an binge. Ive done 1mg melatonin before and ir done 3. 3 makes me groggy mid day next day. Also i take SSRI Luvox which apparently raises ur melatonin levels. Im wondering since melatonin deals with darkness. If i take it everyday will i always get tired whem its dark? I like to play silent hill and dead space when its real dark but will i b too tired or does melatonin only work when u take it?

Dont know for sure. One thing i can tell u is modern tvs. Such as led and lcd and plasma. Which im assumind youre using one of those 3. The light they emit actually supresses melatonin and several other factors due to sleep. Thats why its really easy to sit at a computer or game system allll night and not feel too terribly tired. So i would cut out the games after, say 7 pm.

No, this is exogenous melatonin. Melatonin regulates circadian rhythm, but only endogenously. You don't get conditioned to supplementation.
