Mixing PWOs and not drinking right away

I was talking to a friend of mine and he said not to mix my PWO until right when I'm getting ready to drink it. I told him that it really didn't matter when you mixed it up and drank it, the ingredients are still in there. I do not think that there are any ingredients in a PWO that will break down over time, am I correct?

It doesn't matter unless you're throwing enzymes into your drink

Oh no, its just gonna be Prodigy. But I am currently taking a PWO so I will have something to compare to.
