DSade was kind enough to send me some GlycoMyx to try out. I wanted to post up my experience with it.
My workouts are Olympic-lifting based, 2-a-days, 4-5 days a week. I usually focus on one lift, then do some assistance work for it. Workouts last at most an hour, generally more like 45 min. Evening workouts have been kicking my ass lately. Lately I haven't been using any carbs during my workouts, just an EAA+BCAA blend, so I tend to run out of steam pretty quickly. I was hoping that this stuff would help out.
I wasn't sure how big one dose was, so I guesstimated it was around 40g (turns out it's 50g - no biggy). I took half a dose prior to lifting. It really seemed to help out, as it definitely did seem to allow me to workout a good bit longer. I've used things like Gatorade, WMS, Supercarb, etc. during my workouts... if I were to compare this to other carb sources, I'd say the energy I got from it was "smoother" (longer lasting with no weird crashes or spikes in blood sugar).
It does have a taste, but it's pretty bland. Someone said it tasted earthy - I think that's a good assessment. It's pretty mild. Really, it tastes like sweet potato, but without the sweetness. It also seems a bit thick, and I can taste something fibrous in it, but it didn't weigh down my stomach at all.
I mixed another half dose into my PWO shake, with a scoop of Lemon Cream Pie UP2.0 and two scoops of a plain protein powder. Really good. I can't even detect the GlycoMyx in it. It gave my shake an interesting purple hue.

Thanks! Doing jerks this afternoon, along with a good bit of assistance work. I usually do some higher rep upper body work on jerk days, so this will be interesting. Judging by how I felt yesterday, I suspect that the higher rep work is going to result in more of a pump, along with some vascularity.

Been using it pre-workout for a few days now, and I am definitely getting a bigger pump from higher rep work while using this stuff. I don't use nearly as much volume as a BBer would, but after a few sets of overhead presses, rows and curls my arms felt pretty tight. My forearms in particular were pretty veiny.

D Sade, you ever think about making cookie dough with this stuff? GlycoMyx, protein powder, coconut oil/butter, honey or Splenda, cinnamon/nutmeg... could be pretty good.
