I thought this would be fun to start a thread on...

Personally, I hav experienced half of my life as an extremely overweight individual. As a sophomore in highschool I was 5'8" and 259lbs. I wasnt healthy by any stretch of the imagination, and I was not happy with the way I looked. I decided to learn how to eat properly and began exercising consistently with the goal of leaning up and improving my physique, or lack thereof.

I used OEP religiously during the year and a half that It took me to get from 259-176lbs. That is probably the 1 product that has had the biggest influence on my physique change over the years. I began my body transformation at around god only knows what body fat percentage, and now the most recent body fat percentage I have is 8.3%. Im not going to post pics from the entire process of 259lbs to 176lbs....but rather I am going to post the pic that is most close to the beginning of my bodybulding career and then the most recent one. Its been 3 years now and I have done numerous cutting periods and a bulking period, a lot of supplements, a lot of failures, a lot of success. Its a lot of fun to go back and look at where we all started compared to where we are now.

Everyone, if you have a pic from the beginning of your body transformation and also a current pic, post both and lets all give eachother a round of applause for our hard work and dedication. Also....post the 1 supplement that had the biggest influence on your changes. Only pick 1!

Before:
before.jpg

After:
SANY0024 (2).JPG

The flash makes it hard to see my "before" pic. But it isnt hard to see the difference. I think the "before" pic is around 220-230lb. The current picture is 187lb.

Post away, everyone! Or just stop in and share your thoughts and support!

No, no, no, no, no, no!!!!!

I took breaks, and even used other supplements. But OEP during that 1.5 year period was the most commonly used and had the greatest effect.

I think the most I ever used OEP straight was 90 days without a break. Im very stim tolerant and the product continued to work, so I continued to use it. Im not great about cycling products, lol

Thanks guys. Honestly just strict carb/calorie cycling and lots of HIIT and of course lifting hard. I started with a trainer in September some time and he really tweaked my diet that's when the fat started to melt. My goal is to compete in the Empire Classic next spring (physique of course) but after a few physique shows hopefully Incan put a lot more size on to do bodybuilding that's my goal anyway. At 5'11 and 178 id have to come in at like 215 shredded to compete at my height lol gonna be a while. You guys are all amazing and i love reading through all the different threads you are all involved in I've learned a lot. Thanks

Thanks bud you're doing great keep it up. I miss IF/lean gains, I'm obviously a fat kid deep down so I Loved the freedom of it compared to standard dieting, my stomach/digestive system just didn't agree with all that food at once. I may give it another go cause it makes so much sense for a recomp which is what I'm doing this summer.

I'm loving it so far. Lean gains is the best leap of faith I ever took in bodybuilding, seriously! And thanks for the kind words regarding my own progress, I appreciate it.

Perhaps when doing IF/LG you could slightly tweak your meal %'s to help your stomach? Obviously the benefit of the system becomes a bit lost if you tweak it too hard, but maybe a little tweaking would help ya out

It's Oxy Elite Pro, a thermogenic and appetite suppressant made by USP labs, it's a very good product, I dropped about 35 pounds on it myself.

Thanks, Aaron!

I was hoping to make this thread huge, I also love the motivation from this type of thread.

We are usually all so hard on ourselves as bodybuilders. Usually thinking out progress is too slow or this and that.... But if you look back in time from where you started its a lot easier to see all the changes you've made. Its nice to take that step back and be proud of what you've done. Just can't spend too long looking back, we all know looking forward is the way to go!

Just finished a pretty long bulk, so my body fat is high. I'm just trying to get as dialed in as possible so i can hopefully compete at the Lakewood Natural show in the Junior division.

Thanks guys, it would be sweet to have a bunch of people there. I'm still debating on whether or not im going to enter the Mens Open, but the Junior division seems like it will be pretty competitive without being smoked by some guy whose been bodybuilding for 15 years.

No reason to enter into a weight class that would make it no fun. If you qualify for junior division, join it!

Junior is just 23 and under, no qualifications necessary as long as you get an NPC card and are drug free for 1 year.

If I were to compete that's what I would enter into, personally

What is the other class you are considering as far as the qualifications for it?

how can they prove the drug free part?

They have random drug tests and drug test every class winner. I'm just not sure about something like deca, which can cause you to have a positive result 18 months after use. Or prohormones, which apparently are legal in NPC natural competitions.

No real qualifications, these arent national level shows, but it is a national qualifier for Team Universe. You just need to sign up for your desired weight class and get an NPC card.

That's interesting. I've always wanted to compete. Idk if I have the physique for it or not, though. I don't wanna have to be gargantuan to do it, it rather have a fitness model look. I also want to do fitness modeling, if possible. Idk if I'm built for that, either.

What's your weight class, Kevin?
