I like to do 30 min of cardio when i jump out of bed because your theoretically burning fat being your metabolism hasn't started for the day yet... My question is if you take a serving of BCAA's before doing that cardio will it start your metabolism (like if you ate, or took protein) and thus you will not be burning as much fat in that 30 min because your metabolism got a kick start? Or would it be good because it would prevent you from burning up muscle while doing the cardio? Thanks!

There are no fat burning advantages to fed vs fasted cardio unless using a clinically relevant dose of yohimbine.

Your metabolism is running all day. The consumption of meals has zero effect on BMR (note I said, BMR, not TDEE which will invariably be affected by the TEF of food).
