    PWO Question


    I am very new to the world of PWO supplements. A couple of weeks ago I tried Jack3d and was blown away by the effects. It actually made the gym fun again after 20 years of regular workouts.

    However, I am not a fan of it killing my erection for 18 hours afterwards (and that downtime just seems to increase with each dose). In an attempt to find a workaround, I added some Cialis, but the effects were still muted by the Jack3d.

    What I want is another PWO that provides the same (or increased) animal intensity without the 'stim dick'. Even better would be a great PWO that intensifies erections.

    I have access to Craze and PumpBOL. Neither of these contain DMAA. I have heard that PumpBOL will not cause stim dick, but I am really interested in the Craze. Is combining the two a good or bad idea? Any real advice from someone with experience would be greatly appreciated.

    The company that makes craze has said that it should be taken alone for best results. I haven't tried pumpBol but craze might not give you the increased "animal intensity" you are looking for beyond jack3d. The added energy is definitely there but it has more of an increased focus and concentration effect...at least with my experience. I'm a big fan of it.

    Why not just take a nonstim preworkout?

    Both Craze and Pump-bol will actually increase erection quality.

    I have never experienced stim dick? Interesting...I have been using N2KTS, PWO Zero Loss, Mesomorph, and Powerchews PWO for my pre-workout and never experienced not being able to get an errection later in the day, in fact I think it helps in regards to blood flow to the unit . Very interested in Craze, and when I get some extra cash I will grab a bottle to try.

    Never had an issue with stims and erections (or any supplement, for that matter).

    Is that literally the only thing you've tried? If so, you could try one without the 1,3 dimeth and see if that's what did it for you. Just make your transitions slowly because otherwise you'll increase variables and you'll never know what did it.

    1,3D is the trigger of "stim-dick." Caffeine, ephedrine, etc are all ok for consumption. You may have a tough time getting it up while those stims are in your system since sexual stimulation/erection is, oddly enough, a parasympathetic activity, but you should be perfectly fine after the fact. 1,3D, on the other hand, seems to have further reaching effects.

    Thanks for the info guys. Whatta great board for learning.

    My notes on my first attempt with Craze:

    Woke up feeling like last week's trash. Horrible head cold. I did not want to cancel my workout as I just don't have time to make it up later (very OCD about my workouts). Took 1.5 scoops of Craze. 4 caps of Isatori IsaTest (this is dose #9). Other than these two sups, the only other sup experience I have is 5 sessions with Jack3d and a few sessions with Yohimbine HCL (which my body adapted to VERY quickly and became worthless...otherwise Y-HCL is amazing).

    After 30 minutes of taking the sups I could feel all the severe congestion in my head dry up. It was amazing. Best cold remedy ever. For a warmup I jogged 1.5 miles at a 7 m/m pace, which is a touch faster than normal.

    My goal for my workouts is to provide a good challenge and not hurt myself (I'm getting old). I don't have a workout partner anymore because all my friends stopped weightlifting years ago. I just want to maintain a solid, strong body with good bone density. I am 6'4, 212#.

    Squats: Worked up to 295 on my last 3 sets of 5 reps from 285 last session. Before sups I was typically topping out 225. Nice full, deep reps. Textbook technique. I noticed very sharp mental focus that really concentrated on technique. I was watching myself in the mirror with laser focus.

    Barbell Reverse Lunge: Worked up to 3 sets of 205! This amazed me because it felt easy. I usually keep it to a lazy 135. When I step up to 185 on fiesty days I always wobble on rep 4 or 5. This was a cakewalk. I felt great. Slow and smooth.

    Bench Press: I am have a extreme fear of getting trapped under the bar doing this exercise solo. So I think I keep things at 80% of max to ensure I can escape. I worked up to 3 sets of 5 at 225 easy (from 185). I tested 235 and did a nice solid rep but was too timid to go for a second, although I am sure I could have done a few more easily.

    Pull ups (non weighted). 13, 11, 09. Up from 11, 8, 7. This amazed me.

    Unweighted dips. 20, 20, 20 (usually 16, 16, 16). I felt like I could have easily done 30 of these each. Full, deep, slow reps.

    Seated Cable Rows. Stepped up to 180 from my usual 165. Felt very comfortable.

    The most incredible feature of Jack3d and Craze is the feeling that I don't want to leave the gym. For me, this really the ultimate feeling. I've been working out for years just grinding though a maintenance routine and thinking how much I can't wait to get out of there. Now I am dusting off exercises after my standard workout that I have not done in years, extending my sessions from 60 minutes to 90 and beyond, literally forcing myself to leave. I am very excited about lifting now, and I really hope that I can keep that love, as I am having alot of fun with it.

    A major difference between Jack3d and Craze is that with Craze, I kept asking myself "is this stuff working?", cos other than the results, I didn't feel anything other than motivation. On Jack3d, I entertained thoughts of robbing a bank after the gym: I just felt like my body wanted to climb walls (or run through them). A great feeling, I might add. Craze is smooth and unobtrusive.

    Another interesting feeling is no (or very slight) muscle soreness after the workout. Is that the IsaTest or the Craze? I kinda like that spent, sore feeling, but I could get used to this feeling as well.

    I had one heart palpitation during my workout. Have to keep an eye on that. Will cut my dose of craze to one scoop and see what happens.

    QUESTION: After a cycle of Craze, can I just move to another PWO, or is it generally advised to go without for a few weeks?

    DMAA has yet to take a stim-dick effect on me. Or any effect on me, for that matter. But for whatever reason I have an insanely high tolerance to stims. Multiple cups of coffee, 3 bronkaid tabs, nothing...I had gotten some DMAA (alone) and used one cap two weeks ago. No effect. Bumped up to 2. Nothing. 3 for a workout earlier this week, had nothing (20mg tabs, so that was 60mg). Took 80mg (4 tabs) yesterday on an empty stomach with a cup of coffee, still nothing.

    Reminds me of taking sulbutiamine last year...had to take a full gram+ to feel it's nootropic effect at all. BUUUTTT that's just my body, just sharing my experience lol, certainly don't start trying to megadose because you assume lower doses won't be felt by you.

    Smart move would be to take a break from the stims after your Craze cycle. If a preworkout supp is absolutley necassary, grab a stim free pre and about 4 wks to let those receptors clear out.

    I agree with my buddies here... If you haven't tried a stim free PWO before you might be in for a surprise.. Once you notice what they really can do , it won't be so bad when cycling of the stims...

    iForce Hemavol and AX Ultra Reps would make one killer endurance/pump stack! Haven't tried Hemavol myself, but read really good stuff about it! Ultra Reps on the other hand, can't be without it! Staple!


    You could also explore SuperSize from AX as well after you finish your Craze... It's a stimPWO, but nothing like anything else... With its different design, it would potentially extend your stimmed cycle..

    ^ So true. Stim-free pre's don't necessarily give you that crazy energy or anything, but the pumps and muscular endurance from them is a great benefit. I love hemavol, and keep it in whether I'm using stims or not for a pre; I'm the opposite of Eizbear, use hemavol all the time, haven't yet tried ultra reps, but like the profile on it. Those 2 together would be a great stim-free stack. That, or look into Ultima

    Or, after you're done with craze and take a stim break, you could look into other pre's that have stims but don't have the 1,3 DMAA, since it does seem to be known for stim-dick. Good one's that I've tried would have to be white flood and superpump max

    Stim free is the way to go sometimes we just got to give the body time to clean out and let your receptors get a break. Im looking to do a stack of Hemavol with BodyForge for my next preworkout stack. My endurance is so much better on BodyForge and i want to see the effectiveness of Hemavol first hand.
