Hey guys, any opinions about one of these over the other?
I wonder how this would work since creatine is all about saturation.... Like would you be saturated with using two different types?Creapure for strength and creatine nitrate for pumps. I do both. Nitrate when working out and Creapure on days off
once you're saturated you're saturated there wouldnt really be a benefit. The only difference is you might experiment with creatine hcl preworkout and that might cause a spike in body levels but that would go away pretty fastI wonder how this would work since creatine is all about saturation.... Same with me, brother. Great post.I find that creatine nitrate has actually increased my gym performance. I don't recommend taking it indefinitely like you can monohydrate, but cycled... that's where it's at. I'll take something like Green Bulge or NeoVar 5 times a week to maintain saturation, and then every few months make a run with Nitrates. It's fun to switch it up.
So taking mono on off days and nitrate on training days would give a person total creatine saturation?once you're saturated you're saturated there wouldnt really be a benefit. If the dose of the creatine itself is over 2 or 3 grams on the workout days then yeah youll still be at saturation. Once you are saturated you really only need 2 - 3 grams of the creatine per day. Just calculate how much creatine vs nitrates you get in a dose of the creatine nitrate. I do not know if creatine nitrate partially works by being in your system every day... so that should be something to find out..ie. does nitrate have to be taken every day for compounding effects over time or can taking it only on workout days be effective as well.So taking mono on off days and nitrate on training days would give a person total creatine saturation?
yeah i just dont know how much creatine is in creatine nitrate caps ya know? like would it be enough to keep you saturated in between daysIf the dose of the creatine itself is over 2 or 3 grams on the workout days then yeah youll still be at saturation. just find out what the compound is and the molecular weights and based off the total gram amount of the cap you can calculate how much creatine is in them vs nitrate.yeah i just dont know how much creatine is in creatine nitrate caps ya know? like would it be enough to keep you saturated in between days
No. does nitrate have to be taken every day for compounding effects over time.
JD has posted the amount that was in the APS caps before. You could search his post or shoot him a PM (if the CN in question is APS)yeah i just dont know how much creatine is in creatine nitrate caps ya know? like would it be enough to keep you saturated in between days
This is why you get Fierce, with some yummy designer creatines to cover your saturation needsyeah i just dont know how much creatine is in creatine nitrate caps ya know? like would it be enough to keep you saturated in between days
i prefer launch....btw what happened to it?This is why you get Fierce, with some yummy designer creatines to cover your saturation needs
Did it go somewhere? Both our Launch formulas remain super cool.i prefer launch....btw what happened to it?
I thought it was 4g in the whole 8 caps. Don't hold me to it tho, it's been awhile lolNo

At saturation you will no longer experience strength gains but rather maintain them. Also, 3g daily on workout days only is enough for an individual your size after attaining saturation. You want to keep your muscles saturated with creatine by taking a steady daily dose of 3-5 grams.
AX has German Creatine you can take daily, or you could get both German Creatine and Supersize to cover workout days as well as off days.
I usually do 1 Scoop Supersize, 1/2 scoop GC on workout days, and 1 scoop GC on off days.
It has been working very well, and I've been having great strength gains.
Exactly. Also, the smart user will use both. There is no question that creatine nitrate is a better ergogenic aid than monohydrate, but it is unfeasible and possibly unhealthy to take 3g daily. Take 1-2g creatine nitrate preworkout and use monohydrate to get the rest of your daily needs.
I've always read 3-5grams.At saturation you will no longer experience strength gains but rather maintain them. Also, 3g daily on workout days only is enough for an individual your size after attaining saturation.
Workout days only, sorry (brainfart). Recent creatine studies show that less is needed once saturation is achieved as it is quite easy to maintain.I've always read 3-5grams.
Also, you used the word daily then workout days in the same sentence?
Just curious if you were saying 3g is only needed workout days, and you don't need anything on off days.
This is what I do when using creatine nitrate. Also, the smart user will use both. well, it's good to see they haven't given up studying this. So, as far as weight recommendations or weight ranges for maintenance dose, what have they offered?Workout days only, sorry (brainfart). It's not by weight range, but rather mg creatine per kg lbm. I don'y have the exact figures, but when I'm on campus I'll check.well, it's good to see they haven't given up studying this. So, as far as weight recommendations or weight ranges for maintenance dose, what have they offered?
101-150 - 2g
151-200 - 3g
201-250 - 4g
....?
