I'm a big proponent of either BSN Cellmass (a lot of people rag on it, but I've always had great results from it; this will also get your simple sugars in when you take it post workout) or Sci Fit Kre-Alkalyn capsules if you're looking for brands.

Good recomendation. Storm has a few different kinds of creatine, including my favorite, MCC (magnesium creatine chelate.)
Magnesium helps with a whole bunch of bodily functions, and seems to work very well with creatine & strength.

You should throw a simple sugar in with it
Simple sugars shouldn't be necessary if it is fruit punch flavored. I'm sure it has sugar in the mix already. In my experience most flavored creatine drink mixes have tons of sugar in them.

The timing does not matter, your going to have to experiment with it, personally I get a stomache ache from powder. Ancient Strength or Powerchews Creatine are two products you might wanna keep in mind if you have the same problem.

Not familiar I know storm has it but not sure of the effects. I know mono works and CEE some like it some hate it.
I went with Storm because u get so much creatine for a good price plus I figured different types the better ;)

CEE has been proven inferior.

I'll be sticking with my MCC caps.

agreed, cee stinks!
MCC is a solid alternative.
You could also roll with AX's German Creatine. Most will agree that creapure is worth the extra few bucks, especially since it's pure and it works!
NP has a solid price on it currently. You could even add in something like supersize to get additional effects like vascularity, endurance, and strength. It has a decent dose of creatine already in it, and it's only 19.99 right now and that price definitely won't last.
You could snag both the creatine and supersize, and it's pretty much like getting the creatine free since supersize will go back up to between 25-$27.

"Studies during the loading phase have shown creatine to be up to 36% more effective when taken with high glycemic index carbohydrates. That means you should take it with a carbohydrate rich meal. It's theorized that raising insulin levels by consuming simple sugars helps to better transport creatine and protein into muscle." copied and paste from an Internet site. But I always take my creatine with just about 15-18 grams of sugar after my workouts. I mix it with usually orange juice bc I enjoy the taste and it's like a treat or I'll grab one of my favorite snacks and eat it right after a workout also like a treat. It serves it's purpose and it's also like a reward for a good workout and it's a guilty pleasure that is actually helping me build muscle.

People get hung up over a lot of this riff raff.

In actuality put it in your body and it will be absorbed and used.
Stick to 5g a day and around your work out... Anytime will suffice though.

Sometimes people make things out to be a lot more difficult than they need to be just my 02 cents.

No, take it at any time, 3-5g, and be done with it.
