^^^The best multivitamins you could get. I would also add in MHP's Anavite Sport.

However, you could do something like I do, and use an antioxidant like VitaBerry and then just supplement with Vitamin C.

vitalizer is the only one in a long term study that was positive with blood work.
http://www.landmarkstudy.com/

Only line I know that has there vitamins tested long term.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Abstract (provisional)
Background
Dietary supplement use in the United States is prevalent and represents an important source of nutrition. However, little is known about individuals who routinely consume multiple dietary supplements. This study describes the dietary supplement usage patterns, health, and nutritional status of long-term multiple dietary supplement users, and where possible makes comparisons to non-users and multivitamin/mineral supplement users.

Methods
Using a cross-sectional study design, information was obtained by online questionnaires and physical examination (fasting blood, blood pressure, body weight) from a convenience sample of long-term users of multiple dietary supplements manufactured by Shaklee Corporation (Multiple Supp users, n=278). Data for non-users (No Supp users, n=602) and multivitamin/mineral supplement users (Single Supp users, n=176) were obtained from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) 2001-2002 and NHANES III 1988-1994. Logistic regression methods were used to estimate odds ratios with 95% confidence intervals.

Results
Dietary supplements consumed on a daily basis by more than 50% of Multiple Supp users included a multivitamin/mineral, B-complex, vitamin C, carotenoids, vitamin E, calcium with vitamin D, omega-3 fatty acids, flavonoids, lecithin, alfalfa, coenzyme Q10 with resveratrol, glucosamine, and a herbal immune supplement. The majority of women also consumed gamma linolenic acid and a probiotic supplement, whereas men also consumed zinc, garlic, saw palmetto, and a soy protein supplement. Serum nutrient concentrations generally increased with increasing dietary supplement use. After adjustment for age, gender, income, education and body mass index, greater degree of supplement use was associated with more favorable concentrations of serum homocysteine, C-reactive protein, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and triglycerides, as well as lower risk of prevalent elevated blood pressure and diabetes.

Conclusions
This group of long-term multiple dietary supplement users consumed a broad array of vitamin/mineral, herbal, and condition-specific dietary supplements on a daily basis. They were more likely to have optimal concentrations of chronic disease-related biomarkers, and less likely to have suboptimal blood nutrient concentrations, elevated blood pressure, and diabetes compared to non-users and multivitamin/mineral users. These findings should be confirmed by studying the dietary supplement usage patterns, health, and nutritional status of other groups of heavy users of dietary supplements.

Really? What's wrong with Animal Pak? I thought that was the 'gold standard' of multis?

Why? Because Nniversal Nutrition says it is? Look at the ingredient profile and compare it to OT then look at the price. WAY more bang for your buck IMO now I'm not saying OT is the king of all MV but I'm pretty happy with it and it can be found pretty cheap.

OK, I guess I havent compared the 2 labels yet. I've seen it around here (Canada, but very expensive here. gr) Im sure I could get it for a good price online.

I always thought the AP had a pretty thorough profile, but I'll check out this OT.

It is not about a lable but what the study showed. Now, one a day and omega non which have been studied long term are pointless. That is why I personally will not use them. I want to know that I am getting something that long term will actually help me retain health blood bio markers such as crp, HDL, LDL etc. Something the Vitalizer does. Why keep feeding companys that don't study there multiple?

Just did a youtube search and found this. Looks like a better option than even the vitamin packs such as animal, nano pack or the USANA am pm pack as an example.

I use ON's Opti Men personally... Though in the past I have used Animal Pak and loved it. Only downside to Animal Pak is the $$.

I will say this though...

No multi-vitamin is going to replace a good diet...

Yes, ran all three and they are all good. Triad is very good if you can catch a sale, as it is today somewhere I cannot link to, and MVP is awesome but again, for a month supply is pricey. Don't forget Animal Pak, it is very good and packed with more than just vitamins, same price as Triad and a better choice I might offer if you are on cycle due to some key ingredients in there. As long as you are consistent with what you take, it will make a huge difference. Not once have I got sick in the last 8 months and I attribute that to Triad, MVP and Animal Pak. I never miss a day and never feel run down but for maybe half a day then I am good to go when I wake up.

I "like" this statement.
I just spent a month recovering from a broken finger, the WHOLE time I was taking ZMK and MVP, I truly believe the reason I healed so fast lies in the combo. ZMK has so many key minerals in it the body needs that recovery is drastically improved. If I had the coin to run it all the time, I would.

Definitely going to need Vitamin D, K and E. Vitamin D is good with CVS brand, K is a bit harder to find and a natural vitamin E supplement can be found in Toco-8.

For general phytonutrients and veggie/fruit health, try some vitaberry.

Can't go without leaving a shout out for Zinc and Magnesium. Bro... Zinc is going to help you out a lot with sickness. Magnesium as well, I think ZMA would work for you especially for illness prevention/fighting.

good to hear, but sorry you feel it's pricey.
it contains quality ingredients that your body can actually breakdown, some multi's don't get broken down well, and you excrete most of those nutrients out.

I have heard great things about the mst combo. I have yet to try it at this point. I am however, a huge proponent of OT, and being an older guy I couple that with Super Cissus for a nice synergistic feel

It really is not too expensive, I am just getting things together for a serious DS run and that is what is sopping up the supplement funds. I can normally get a bottle a month of ZMK or MVP per month no problem. I am trying out the Animal Pak again and I like it though I definitely feel that MVP has some noticeable effects from dose one, you actually feel that multi and I get great energy from it.

Bumpin this up. Any of you who take ADAM, have you ever experimented with taking it before bed instead of in the AM? I only ask this because it has ZMA in it. Personally I've always taken my multi in the AM, but I wonder if it's any more effective than it would be taking it before bed?

I like how animal pak has milk thistle & hawthorne, but i like how Orange Triad has joint compound. I don't know of one that covers all bases.

Orange Triad is retailing in Canada for over 70$ a bottle.........it is by far in my opinion the best, and possibly my favourite product out of everything I use.

I simply cannot get over the greed of Canadian retailers, it sells for 22.99 in America online, yet we have to pay 75$. That s why when I go into popeyes or GNC and they ask me if I have a multi I smirk at them and laugh under my breath.

"Ya I have Orange Triad and I paid 1/4 what you expect me to pay.

The only supplements I buy in Canada are fish oil and possibly protein powder.
