Well yesterday in my anatomy class we were talking about n.o. and I mentioned that I take it for working out and she flipped out on me and couldn't understand why on earth I would do that and told me I was going to kill myself. Is there any truth to that? I mean obviously it could kill someone if they have heart problems or something but she said no healthy person should be taking it.

As far as risk, EVERY supplement product includes a "WARNING" and states those who should NOT use the product or be careful, etc. - all of which should be common sense to begin with.

For one, you're NOT taking NO. You're taking substances purported to increase production of NO in your body. Show her this, and ask her where dying fits in:

LMAO, if you told me you were taking NO I would laugh to and call you an idiot. No athlete takes NO, we may take amino acids that enhance our bodies ability to produce NO, but we don't take it directly lol; it is a gas, are you inhaling your NO pre-workout?
