    R-ALA Affecting Appetite?


    Has anybody noticed r-ala negatively affects their appetite?

    Well I don't know if I'm feeling what you're feeling...I started taking this yesturday for the first time (100mg. with meals 5 times/day) and my stomach doesn't feel right...I've felt slightly sick each time I've tried to eat today.

    It can upset your stomach. I don't think that's unusual.

    I'd say R-ALA has only positively affected my appetite.
    If anything, it lowers my blood sugar, and I get "gimmie friggen food now" syndrome.

    Agreed, although this could be viewed as negatively affecting your appetite if dieting.

    For those up you getting stomach problems while on it, try taking some Prevacid or some other type of Antacid. That should do the trick to alleviating your symptoms.

    never happened to me either, sometimes it increases it I think.
