    Question Protein and Thoat Irritation

Every since i started drinking protein my throat will get irritated. ( a dry throat and such). Any one know any reasons why? I have tried about 6 different protein powders and they all give me the same effects.

Maybe a mild allergy to whey? Try taking benadryl before you drink it to see if you get the same effect. If so try switching to a casein based protein or an egg based one.
