As of right now:
2 hours pre workout
chicken and brown rice
2 scoops dymatize elite whey protein
w/ 10oz of fat free milk to slow digestion

15 min pre workout
1 orange as a simple sugar

10 min post workout
1 scoop optimum glycomaize
2 scoops dymatize elite whey protein
in water for quick digestion

1 hour post workout
chicken and brown rice or whole grain pasta

These are the only meals that I eat carbs during my day.

Been enjoying the lean bulk of this routine thus far.
Just wondering if it is the optimal plan for a lean bulk?
Am I getting enough BCAA and also the right BCAA at the right times?
Was also considering taking Ragnarok as a preworkout cause I do enjoy the pumps from NO products.

Thanks for any advice

personally, i would wait a little longer than an hour for your after workout meal. your protein powder takes 35-40 minutes to start digesting in your stomach then throwing in other food with it doesn't help. your body can't break down the protein then and will just secrete it as a waste product.

i don't like to take my protein shakes with any food. i usually wait atleast 1.5 hours before or after a meal to drink a shake. everyone is different though.

if you want to lean bulk, you will have to really kick up the protein content in which you consumer. try to get most of your protein from whole foods though as this is the best protein source out there.

I eat a lot of protein through egg whites, tuna, and chicken I just add in the shakes to bump up the amount of protein. So taking protein shakes with food is just a waste?

Don't use peptide-bound amino acids with WMS; it's counterproductive. Instead, use it with a EAA or BCAA powder. Also, cut out the 2 scoops of protein with the pre-WO meal. The chicken and milk is plenty and I'd move the orange to this meal as well.

So, that would be:

Pre-WO
Chicken, rice, milk, orange

Post-WO #1
EAA/BCAA powder with Glyco
-30 mins later-
2 scoops protein

-90-120 minutes later-
Meal

Dchristo,
are you are not getting the results you're looking for? In other words, what's the reason for your question.

If your plan is working, don't fix what's not broken.
