3 hours a day in the gym?
with 45-60 min is enough bud
I run a 3 day split most weeks. Bi's, chest, legs, shoulders, back, Tri's, and stomach as a primary focus if there's a 4th day. So let me qualify the 3 hour comment a little better.
I do an extensive stretch, usually about 20 minutes. Range of motion and flexibility is a key focus of mine.
20-30 of ab work. Big believer in working the core.
30-40 minutes on muscle group 1, same for muscle group 2. I do consistent stretching of the focus area during the routine as well.
Then, since I'm trying to trim fat, I'm on cardio for 20-30 minutes.
It's really not an excessive amount as you can see. Also in that, since I have a work out buddy, there's some social time, going to get water, taking a piss etc. Most times we're out of there in 2.5, sometimes 3 tops.
an hour is what I do at a home gym, with no socializing, and no solid ab, cardio, or stretching.
