Ok so someone advised a midnight snack. Well at this time i get lazy so i was thinking of buy some met-rx big 100 protein bars. Here are the nutrition info.

calories 370 50 from fat
total fat 6g saturated fat 2.5g
cholesterol 25mg
sodium 190mg
potassium 550mg
total carbs 50g
fiber 2g
sugar 25g
protein 28g

I was thinking of eating about half of it a night. I am on a cut and i do not eat alot of carbs so the 50g kind of scarred me.

I'd suggest overcoming your laziness. Even half a bar has 25g of crappy carbs, half of it sugar. How hard is it to eat a spoonful of natural peanut butter, or eat some cottage cheese right out of the container?

Bars are sh#t if you're on a cut.

Grab some Skippy's Natural PB if you're big on taste. It has a couple of grams of added sugar, but it tastes much better than other brands, IMO.

I agree, find something other than a bar, especially one with that content, if you are on a strict cut.

Protein bars are an attack on value for nutrition in the sports supplement world.
1. They often use soya (soy) ... bad move. Check it out if you're not sure.
2. Loaded with fast junk carbs
3. Cost more than whole food.

Cottage cheese is a great night time snack - slow release. (I need to pay attention to that).
PB - I recognize this is a national symbol of the US but almond nut butter is a better way to go. Almonds are nutritionally much more superior to peanets. I know you can easily buy this in the US 'cause I've bought it in local stores there.

Yeah, almond butter is awesome... just expensive. I can easily find it locally, but not for a decent price. I can buy Skippy Natural PB at Walmart for $2.

these BIG100 bars are pretty tasty but use them for when you need meal replacement...not prebed.

they can also get pricey..i dunno how much u pay but i get these for around $1 each, and thats with coupon

they use metamyosyn protein which is whey and milk

sometimes i take PureProtein bars...whey protein source

Big 100 bars might work for you, but this guy is cutting. They certainly don't replace quality whole-food meals. Also, take a closer look at your Pure Protein bar. See the words hydrolized gelatin? It's counted toward the protein content of the bar... but it's hardly that.
